Unstable Elemental Confluence trinket not showing up in the heirloom tab after obtaining it. Is this intended? Only one alt can use it at a time currently.

Nvm. it showed up just after I mailed it back to the character that got it.

For future reference, check to see if the refund timer was still on. Mailing it would have removed that timer with a popup warning stating this.

It never had a refund timer on it since it was created from the 4 elemental things you get from the invasions. But even though I did finally get it on my 2nd account, I’m running into the same problem of it not showing up in the heirloom tab again. This second event trinket, i have mailed it back and forth several times in attempt to force it to show up, but so far it has not. An hour has lapsed since I first obtained it.

Issue is NOT fixed. 7 hours has past since I got the Unstable Elemental Confluence trinket on my other account and does not show up in the heirloom tab.

You create it with the four drops from the elemental bosses. There’s no refund timer.

I have the same issue. I completed it yesterday. I have the BOE heirloom trinket but creating it and equipping it never added it to my heirloom collection. After creating it I equipped it on that character and have since mailed it to a character who will actually use it and equipped it on them, and still nothing shows up for it in my heirloom collection. My partner thinks I’m nuts because it worked perfectly for them.

The only weird thing I can think of is that I didn’t actually win all four dimmable shards (or whatever they’re called) - someone gave me the earth version. Maybe that’s why?

It’s possible. Mine shows in my heirlooms properly. I didn’t get the four parts on the same character. I got two from other characters. I didn’t get any from another player.

You might want to file a bug report on that.

Yep. Another data point - I was able to upgrade it to 1/1 using the upgrade item from the vendor in Oribos. Still doesn’t show up in my collection though. As far as I can tell there’s no addon hiding it, but I’m 100% NOT going to be turning off all (or even one of) my addons and messing up my configuration to find out, sadly.

then… you shouldn’t be wasting QAs time with bug reports.
for something to be considered a bug, it needs to be able to be replicated with the stock UI.

chances are, you’ve got an addon which doesn’t recognize the item, and is hiding it.

I disabled all my addons to see if that was an issue. The trinket still doesn’t show up in the heirloom tab on my 2nd account 2+days later.

You need to rename/delete the folders as mentioned in the article to reset your WoW user interface. Disabling addons only stops them from running. It doesn’t restore any settings they’ve changed.

Two minutes after I wrote this, I refreshed the heirlooms tab and now it is displaying. Re-enabled my Addons, and I can still see it. Maybe it just took some time for a database to update?

Original post:
I renamed the interface folder and restarted the game. The item DOES NOT display in the Heirlooms tab for me, either. I was able to upgrade mine to 59 and equipped it on the character that created it. Still cannot see it in Collections.

As others have mentioned, the character that created it was gifted two of the sigils from other characters on my account.

Doesn’t seem like that should make a difference, but who knows?

Yeah, it turns out that, at some point when I wasn’t looking, a filter was added to the Heirlooms tab, with one category being “Sources” as in where the heirloom item was acquired from. There’s a (presumably new) source, “World Event” (or World Events, I’m not in-game atm) and on my game it wasn’t checked.

Checking the little check box caused the trinket to immediately show up.

@Nobully - turning off the addons DIDN’T HELP, quell surprise. :frowning:

tl;dr - new sneaky source category on the filters, make sure ‘world event’ is selected.

I cannot upgrade my unstable elemental confluence heirloom from vendor in Ironforge. I’ve tried each of the leveling up armor casings available from the vendor and none of them worked. Dudes anybody else have this trouble?

turning addons off isn’t recommended as a troubleshooting method.
what is recommended, is a full UI reset.
you can rename the folders if you’re worried about losing your settings.

…but it seems your issue was related to filters.

To upgrade it, use Eternal Heirloom Armor Casing
