PSA: I got one of the components for this today so it appears you can still get it.
While I like that it can still be gotten for those that missed out I would have liked some advantage to getting it during the pre-patch (maybe full upgraded etc). I guess they sold me on the FOMO

I was doing one of these elemental storms for about 30 minutes, I was expecting a kind of boss Elemental to show up, much like the pre patch
So where is this boss mob to get the confluence on?
It drop from any random mob AFAIK. I personally got mine off an elite.
Pretty sure you can just buy the trinket from the vendor, too.
Where and how did you get the item? Please elaborate. I need Earth and Storm. They’re not in Ironforge Vendor or Guild Vendor as someone suggested. You’re post here is the ONLY sign of hope. There is literally nothing else that comes up in a Google search but this.
The bosses that drop them are listed on each of these pages. You just need to wait for one of them to spawn during an appropriate primal storm (they’ll appear on the world map), tag them, and hope it drops.
