I was sure this trinket would be usable in the new xpac to level to 70 but after grinding it out , I find it only scales to 59??? Wth things like this use to come out to be used in the new xpac I’m scratchin my head with this one … I’ve alrdy leveled all the low levels I’m ever going to Blizz only leveling I’ll be doing is in the xpac maybe idk yet…
If you wait for a couple of years you will be able to use it to level in Dragonflight.
I mean that’s great and all but … kind of misses the target by a few years lol
It’s an heirloom, the point is to use it to bring up the character up to right before the current expansion. But in the recent expansion Blizz wants you to do all the stuff with their new toys. It’s by design like that.

Yeah draenor has a cool one, some tentacle void trinket, I saw my friend use it a few years ago. I’m not dealing with any of that garrison crap to get it though.
Dont heirlooms usually end when you start to newest expansion?

Didn’t they implement the item to upgrade your heirlooms from 49 to 59 in 9.1? The upgrade for 59 to 69 should be around the same timing if they decide to implement it.

You can buy the trinket from other players, unless they’ve changed that lately. I got mine for 15k a while back.
On topic: heirlooms are meant to help you level up to the current expansion, but into said expansion. Since we go into DF at level 60, thats where the heirloom scaling stops for now.
The 252 event gear is supposed to be the “catch up” gear that you take into Dragonflight.

Idk I just thought it would be super cool to level up with it through the new xpac … seems I’m in the minority though…all good … least it’s cool if I ever level another alt.
