YES, revert the changes blizz! You can’t get rid of differences, we all have something about ourselves that bothers us and that can’t change, but that’s okay. Taivan taught us that! We can love ourselves and each other as we are, we can find value in the differences instead.
Bring back big Taivan!

Taivan’s mount size was a non-issue, and given the considerable effort involved, there are other legitimate problems with the mount itself (not pitching to slope, jump animation timing, idle swimming animations, etc.) that deserve attention. Please revert this change, Blizzard.

When I first read about this meta achievement few weeks back, I said to myself, Okay, big grind. I remember well investing a good chunk of time back in BFA with Nazjatar and Mechagon meta-mounts, which were very fun and unique. Specially the Orange Crab (one of my favorite mounts still today)
So I checked this time: Oh nice! the big orange dog from Ohn’aran plains, I remember him! This is a unique mount and worth my time.
Now? Taivan had its pedigree removed. Feels just like another orc wolf in size. And the most troublesome part is no communication at all. Did they really think they could stealthly shrink the size without notice? Why? Fun police aside, Is there any technical explanation of why would such a cool mount need to have its size reduced?

I will agree with people here. Unshrink Taivan please!

And make it a full un-shrink. Don’t try to just enlarge him a little bit.

i’m just gonna say it: i have no idea who taivan is, but i agree. unshrink him! there’s no reason to shrink taivan!
…i assume he’s one of those dogs the centaur have as pets.

If you did the Centaur quests, he’s an exceptionally large Bakar that you have to figure out what to do with. So his size is kind of an important part of who he is. Then Blizzard decided to nerf him to regular Bakar size.

There’s a whole quest chain around this specific dog (bakkar) who cant’ serve as a hunting partner to the centaurs because he is 2-3 times as large, and also has a bit of a personality (he’s a gentle giant, basically) So you run a whole quest chain where he tries to find his role in the centaur society and it’s very endearing and silly at times.
Taivan is a gentle giant, that’s basically his whole deal. And they made him direwolf sized. Lame.

ahh, i see i see… if he was’nt part of the main questline, i did’nt do the quests with him in it.
…or if i did, i instantly forgot about it after i turned off WoW.
Hmm interesting decision to make a huge dog mount that’s pretty recognizable huge and then make it not big at all…

Taivan was honestly a pretty crap reward for that achv, being huge was the only thing that was kinda cool about it. Should have been a flying mount.

Weeks of work. 1 day away from completion and getting that big sweet fluffy boi and he gets shrunk. Big sad, make all the work feel not worth it…

I didn’t even know if I would bother with this meta but since the mount isn’t huge anymore just saved me a bunch of time.
