Yes you can, you can do it right now by going to your preferences and manually typing in a users name.
Recently a lot of forum profiles defaulted back to private so there isn’t really a nefarious purpose behind this. Just put her on ignore and move on.
As an alternative, you can also just ignore users by not reacting and responding to their posts. I do this and it works like a charm!
