Anyone else do that quest in Hallowfall that involves taking a creepy fish stranded on the waters edge and letting it loose into the ocean?
The fish gives off the same vibes as the fish from the Aszhara story cinematic, starts talking to you and when you release it into the water you get to see one of those massive old god squids come out of the water to collect the fish.
The fish then says something basically like “if I ever see you again it would be a shame to watch you drown”. Man I don’t often get creeped out by anything in WoW but the way this quest played out and the thought of a vast, deep ocean full of old god fishies deep within the core of the earth, gives me the jeebies.

The fish was a disguise actually, its real form is one of those squid looking thinks that usually attach themselves to people’s heads to control them.

You might want to do that again on an alt because I’m pretty sure the “fish” is one of those squids.
I loved that questline lol, and I didn’t have it spoiled for me so it took me by surprise.

On my screen the fish was swimming towards the squid as the squid emerged from the water, maybe a bug/delay with the transition but that was my assumption.

Imagine how spooky the game could get having to do a deep sea quest down in the dark ocean where this thing came from with only a water breathing spell and a magic lamp. When suddenly two house sized eyes open up to look at you.
