Just curious of anyone who reads these forums is a CK3 player?
The new DLC drops tomorrow. While I will probably play it, cause adventuring sounds great finally, but more importantly I play the WOW mod Guardians of Azeroth II for CK3 and being an ORC adventurer sounds REALLY FUN!

Never got CK3, since I have yet to explore even a quarter of everything CK2 has to offer yet.
Once you’ve saved the world from Cithulu and given up trying to prove to everyone who thinks your insane that the battle really happen but only your trusted Chancellor Glitterhoof believes you, you’ve officially completed CK2.
Oh I’ve got a story about Glitterhoof. Even have the receipt but I can’t remember how to link images when you aren’t “trusted” enough to post links.
Regardless, got the Chancellor Glitterhoof event on a mad ruler who promptly dies. Carry on with the game.
TWENTY YEARS LATER get a random scandal event in my court from one of my courtiers…and Glitterhoof. They were caught in a “compromising” position.
I haven’t laughed that hard since I got the event where my brother ended up being a literal bear.
Road to Power sounds really great! The CK3 expansions so far have been a mixed bag for me (Royal Court and Tours both suffer from basically being event packs with lots of repetition imo), but landless characters and a Byzantine revamp at the same time feels really substantial! So I’m a little hyped.
Aside from the main features I also really like the new succession mechanic where you can play as a dynasty member other than your direct heir. It should make it a lot easier to play as a real “dynasty” rather than just one kingdom/empire, since you’ll be able to set relatives up on thrones and then switch to them, rather than uh watch the AI lose the title immediately.
I’ve played Guardians of Azeroth a bit which is great, and adventurer mechanics are particularly well suited for that game. It has been a while but I have murky memories and some out of context screenshots of playing some sort of culturally Draenic Troll emperor ruling Stormwind? It got weird I remember that much

That being said I am really excited to do Adventurer for GOA2 once it’s compatable.
It will make going from the Shattered Horde to founding Orgrimmar feel more interesting as I slowly take over Kalimdor and Genocide/Enslave the entire continent making it a safe new home for the Orcish people.

The other races will become part of the Horde. Every race of the Horde including the Night Elves and Draenei will have equal rights…Orcs will just be more equal then others.
I played a little bit today, first impressions of the adventurer mechanics are really good. I tried out playing as an adventurer in the new start date, camping out near Jerusalem as a Norman Mercenary taking contracts amid the failing crusader state as Saladin beats them down.
My fighting force is still pretty small, <500 soldiers so I won’t be carving out my own realm anytime soon. It is pretty fun playing it as a sort of spectator mode, watching wars play out without stressing about who wins or loses, just trying to make some coin by siding with the winner.
Your camp courtiers (or followers as the game calls them) really get some personality since you don’t get very many of them and the game bestows little nicknames on them, and they also tend to be more diverse than a kingdom since you don’t have some state religion to worry about. The game does a pretty good job of making you feel like a ragtag band of wanderers rather than just reskinned counts or something.
My only issue was that the patch rewrote the txt files for characters so all my saved DNAs and Characters for CK3 and GOA2 were completely borked and now I have to spend hours fixing them all…
I have these all saved from the last time you posted it because it’s so cursed and I hate it.
Please always share cursed screen shots from this mod.
I’m in the same boat that I never played CK3 because I still barely touched CK2 and feel bad about buying it and never making the time for it.
