Unpruning Mistweaver Suggestion

Just wanted to throw out there that the best time I had playing my Mistweaver Monk was when I could cast soothing mist while moving. I think it was one of the most unique things about healing as a monk.

I’m sure a lot of people think it made monks overpowered (specifically in PvP), but right now monks are lower down the list on overall raid healing, allowing a way for monks to have more healing uptime is something that would give them a small boost without altering their spells.

I don’t think many people saw that as op, Soothing mists healing was much weaker then than it is now. It was a nice thing to have though, although with how soothing mist works with ENVM and vivify I don’t know if it’ll happen.

I’m personally a fan of Warlord Monk, when you could Chi Torpedo three times in a row (probably overpowered), and I miss a mastery that’s actually unique instead of just adding an extra heal. I love Chi Spheres as mastery (albeit it needs a buff) and Chi Explosion for its versatility. Mistweaver should get chi counters back.

And it’d be awesome if Mistweaver also get Storm, Earth, and Fire as a CD, short CD where your decoys act as smart Soothing Mist healing independently.

I agree, 100% my most missed spell. Mistwalk is a closer runner up. Super overpowered in pvp so I get it but if like it in pve atleast

I do not want to see any more buttons added to mistweaver: a large part of the appeal of the spec for me is the tight, efficient heal package. Bloating that package for the sake of “unpruning” would be a net loss for me.

Monk is suppose to be the most nimble healer though. I don’t mind a more mystical approach similar to Rogue’s Shadowstep, but instead you teleported behind your teammate (even if no heal).

I want Fist-weaving to allow you to heal your teammates by PUNCHING THEM. Like Fist of North Star.

I would like to see vivify return to the aoe healing spell it used to be. I don’t like the current iteration requiring renewing mist to be on people in order to aoe heal.

I was also a big fan of having a melee kick and being able to channel soothing while moving.

Oh and the talent that dispelled slows from monks after a roll is very missed.

I liked the idea of bein squishy but extremely mobile to offset the squish.
