Unpopular WoW opinions?

Blood elves fit the Horde just fine; its theme is disparate races banding together despite their differences. I don’t know if that’s really an unpopular opinion but I feel like I see a lot of “the Horde is aesthetically tribal, elves don’t belong!” and it doesn’t make any sense. The Horde is about mutual protection and power projection, not tribal culture.

I like the idea of ‘lightforged undead’ and I don’t understand why people seem to hate it so much.

Maybe I phrased it badly.

I hate how people judge which classes/specs are and aren’t viable simply due to world first guilds having specific comp.

I hate the constant fighting about min/max racials that always arises.

I hate how every time it leads to US vs EU fighting and gets political even.

The game is fun. Really fun.

Chronicles makes him a total badass.

  • Vashj’ir is the best zone in the game.
  • Cata was most fun of all the expansions.
  • I liked Garrisons.
  • MoP is the best expansion
  • Dailies were great and world quests arent an adequate subsitute.
  • Gnomes are the best race.
  • Vanilla was the worst WoW has ever been, and only nostalgia goggles hide this.
  • Leveling is my favorite part of the game.
  • BfA is fun and I like the writing in it.
  • For the most part, class design is fine right now, and I dont understand the complaints
  • We shouldnt waste allied races on more elves, dwarves, or trolls.

Many specs are as complex as they’ve ever been, and even if they aren’t the difficulty of the game should come from learning how to play a spec on a given fight, not how to play a spec in general.

I think island expeditions are really enjoyable.

I think all content should be solo-queued. The age of summoning stones are over. They can still exist, but no longer relevant.

  • Pandaria was trash (even tho it was beautiful).
  • Blizz is right to ignore the edgelords posting emo REEEEEEEE tears on the forums.
  • Majority of players follow the streamers like children after the Pied Piper and this is bad for the game.
  • Classic will be a big thing and end up helping redefine Retail development going forward.
  • Blood elves are dumb.
  • Allies should have High Elves.
  • People who shriek the loudest about squelching or getting banned are the ones who need it the most.
  • Talent trees going away is the worst thing to happen to WoW.

Island expeditions are not that bad, it is fast repeatable content. It just feels really out of place and completely inconsequential to the history.

  • There needs to be more Mage Tower type content, YES as in single player end game content.
  • Kil’jaeden should have been the last boss of Legion not a world soul.
  • The Belf heritage armor quest line was outstanding!! That to me is engaging Content.
  • Raids should have normal and hard mode (hard mode is on par with what mythic is now). I’m not a mythic level player but those who are deserve to have that level of play.
  • Obtainable gear to work too with vendors for PvP/PvE both like how they worked in Wrath/Cata/Panda with token/currency.

“I quite like the Pathfinder achievement”

Drinking beer is a bad tank strategy.

I go back and forth on island expeditions so much.

Some weeks it’s a chore to do my 4.

Others I could pound them out for hours.

This got me silenced for 40 minutes. 3 years on WoW and this is what got me my first silence / forum ban. Unreal.
