As Alliance, I wish I liked the ‘human’ female more but she is so frumpy, slow and runs ‘weird’ with toes pointed inward. And, she looks really bored or depressed. Seemed for a long time ‘Warlock’ as human was the best I could choose. Now I do like being able to switch to the Allied races Void Elf or the Lightforged Draenei. Way more zippy, quicker it ‘seems’ and sleek. Had to switch…

They are still building Azeroth? How was the artwork design negatively affected by the existence of Tauren Rogues and Mages?

Because it defies common sense and looks silly. Thereby diluting the world experience and immersion. People greatly underestimate how much this matters for a game, and particularly an MMO where you’re supposed to be immersed.
You can think humans should have been able to be hunters (I agree, it should have always been an option) without thinking that a 15ft tall tauren with antlers and hooves should be a stealthy rogue. People are too hyperbolic online.
Actually, judging by the response to this thread, I think a lot more people agree with me than I thought. You might be in the minority.

Defies common sense…like they have some sort of…MAGIC? No, that can’t be, magic surely doesn’t exist.
Yeah, magic in the game would dilute the world and the experience and my immersion because of magic.

No way, a 15 ft creature can use bag of tricks, a gun, some swords and daggers…and magic? No way, you can’t be serious?! What world do these creatures live in? Is this some Fantasy land or something?

As I say, people underestimate it. The game had far more subs when they were consistent. Did diluting the game world matter? I think it contributed to the decline. Things making basic sense makes things better. You can make contrived explanations (guh its magic) but that just sounds lame and weak.

i think there should be no combat bonus tied to race. play what you want with no min max.

oh that wasn’t rogues or anything with racial blah blah blah. That was mostly because of shadowlands.

Yeah I agree they should get rid of the combat bonuses but give non-combat bonuses, since it inevitably distorts the gameplay (such as everyone using dwarves for everything now due to their OP racials). Stuff like the mole machine for dark iron dwarf is fun though.
Them purges on dwarves are great.

Maybe have choosable racials. Like one racial specific to that race, then a choice from a pool.
