Since three days ago i simple cannot play because my latency is excessively high, getting about 1229 ms (home) and 606 ms (world). I usually play in both North and South America, and the problem persists the same in both regions.
Is there anyone having the same issue? I already tried the usual methods that Blizzard recommends and other places like Reddit. It just doesn’t work right now
There have been a few posts about latency, mainly around Claro from Brazil, though a few reported it in other areas. Unfortunately these tend to be untraceable, hard to say where it’s happening at when it doesn’t affect a large group of players.
Giving location info and isp might help, Unfortunately blizzard doesn’t do direct one on one support for latency issues. Try a VPN to see if it helps, connect with your isp for them to check peering.
The servers are hosted in Chicago or Las Vegas for the majority of the servers in North and South America, Australian and New Zealand servers are in Sydney. There are no servers located in South America.
Thanks for the reply and information. Seems like have been stabilized, probably something with the provider. I’m enjoying as usual right now.
