Unplayable lag issue

after the patch on tuesday, i have been getting very frequent lag spikes. they persist with or without addons and i’ve gone through every step blizz said i should try, without resolution.

i ran a WinMTR like they said to but i don’t have a clue what i’m supposed to be looking for…

any help appreciated.

I don’t have the data to back up mine, but in game my latency reports ~150ms home and ~12000 world.

Your connection has 6% packet loss and latency spikes from the very first hop. They continue throughout the run.

It could be a router issue. If wireless, try wired, or try changing bands. If wired, try a new cable or port on the router. Check router firmware for updates and network card drivers as well.
