Unplayable game = Compensation for service?

So, when one pays for a service, is it reasonable to assume that one can access this service for the duration of the time period paid for? I’ve had this conversation with a certain cable company that is notoriously greedy, and ultimately they agreed, and prorated the time I was cost. I, and hopefully some others here, expect the same of a company I have paid to access this game, who have broken my ability to access the same. This is my notice of the beginning of the affected time, which I expect to be extended by or compensated for.

You want me to send you the $0.5 by PayPal?

Go outside and walk along the sidewalk. You’ll find more compensation in that amount of time then waiting for Blizzard.

You’re not entitled to anything so get over it.

Well, good luck I guess. I wouldn’t hold your breath though.

You are in fact the first kid to ever demand compensation for disrupted play time. Blizzard will fully reimburse you 1.87cents after you contact customer service.

Nah, theyll hide behind the part of the agreement that says you understand that the service may not be available at certain times for maintenance and so on.

IDK why but when I read posts like this:

“You don’t pay unless we win” is what comes to my mind.

The game has been playable except for the hour after the patch went live. Stop whining.

Servers shat the bed again mate. Not whining when it’s legit broken.

They aren’t obliged, but it is a nice gesture if the game was down for an extended period.
In WoD we got like 3 days free or something.

The issue is, the game costs so little per day its barely worth anyone’s effort.
I’m sure people look at it as money lost, but unless you were getting a week free or something, would it really matter?

I just got on and played a battleground. No problems over on Emerald Dream.

Game works for me and I have been able to log in. As long as a single server is available, the service is available.

I’ve worked for a cable company.

Did you know they actually talk about people like you and make fun of you during training?

Considernig the whole month costs $15 tops, I’d love to see the crack legal team he assembles. It’d likely have to be a class action on behalf of a million players, and we’d get checks for $1.82 a year from now. (I got a check for about 3 dollars once after a bank lost a class action about causing overdraft fees, but their overdraft fees were $27 each at the time. It was like giving everyone a new bicycle after stealing their car.)

Game works fine for me, haven’t had any issues at all. Good luck with getting any free time though lol

I know this is normal ™ for patch days… Still, I can’t rag the OP too much.
After waiting till evening to get the realms to settle and let me get in some levelling, I can’t help but think that the patch which went in just now was expressly to reinstate the ‘character not found bug’…

Seriously though. There used to be a time in which we’d be credited with time if more than 24 hours passed with no service.
