I’ve been away from the game since 8.0 and I’m so disappointed that Alliance got Mechagnomes (boring, ugly) instead of Sethrak.

I kinda think, maybe Blizzard is shifting away from Allied Races, especially with the massive customization overhaul. Specifically I’m seeing that instead of getting Wildhammer Dwarves, we’ll instead be able to give regular Bronzebeards the Wildhammer customizations. To my thinking that would have been a better way to do Mechagnomes anyways; forget a new race, just allow ‘cybernetic cosmetics’ to base gnomes.

…despite that, I’d still like to see Sethrak come in Alliance side; I feel they are unique enough, and requested enough (this thread, and many more before they were consolidated) to be worth Blizzard’s time to make them an allied race.

I take the new customization as a sign lesser AR choices that are just a minor cosmetic tweak (LFD, Mechagnomes, HTM, Even as far as DI for example) can be shoved off the table and actual fun, new options can be the focus.

More AR will be like Vulps, KT and yes Sethrak.

To be fair, Sethrak are set to go horde right now.

And on a personal note I love my mechagnome.

They should so be an AR.

I agree Sethrak are a loved race and there is demand. I hope we get them.

I think that blizzard won’t shy entirely away from similar races, but certaintly the next few probably will be more unique.

I will play with sethraks in the horde with no problem. And the alliance?
The Ally can continue to receive commercial failures as long as the blizzard wants, until it makes the faction as attractive as a salad plate for a lion.

God knows that we are already without any prestige with which we got in BfA.

I do believe they have some color sketch openings. That is the type I commissioned both times for Hershey.

I absolutely love their art. They do a lot of WoW artwork, and I think I have said before that their art is featured in the article about the Sethrak speculation as an AR on WoWhead.

I love how this snake’s fangs poke out. Whoever is holding this snake though is probably brave.

It’s a strange mentality. Contribute nothing and be mean. At the very least they could explain their reasons.

It’s a rendition of my pet snake that died from cancer as a Sethrak, in memory of him. That snake meant the world to me.

DragonAsis is a little spendy. But it’s definitely worth it. I’m sure you can get ahold of them via Twitter. I use FA, little easier to contact certain artists there. Really just depends on what platforms they use the most to post their art.
