From all the races left. Sethrak and Furbolg are the only bestial ones that have any playable potential at all.

Though petting a King Cobra is a TERRIBLE idea. xD

I don’t know that snek boi looks super happy to be petted. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was always surprised by my brothers snakes capacity for
socialization and his interest in cuddling. Snakes aren’t as cold as people make em out to be.

Gotta remember Reptiles don’t go through the same mindset as Mamallians, they’re more cold and calculating with some exceptions to the rule, snakes for example tend to be volatile sometimes with the more deadly species but sometimes they can be very loving its the same for Monitors, this is because they aren’t exactly a social species.

Speaking of i think theres a place in England they got a youtube channel where they actively help create socialism for reptiles and even breed a more social small monitor species (they’re so god damn adorable!) and while they’re more friendly and actively nice they’re nothing like normal pets still same for there Snakes infact it was them that showed me i think its called Oviviparious? the one that has eggs internally and hatch there.

Lesson is, don’t freely pat a dangerous reptile unless they’re well use to you on a constant basis and you have anti-venom tailored to that exact species within arms length.

EDIT: I suddenly want to see how a sleek monitor species would look now in WoW.

Aye. I’d never just walk up to one and pet it.
Certaintly not if I knew it was a venomous kind.
I only really pet my brothers corn snake. They’re an adorable little snek.

Neat dual-colored tongue on this North American Garter Snake! You can also see what I have referred to in the past of how the eyes can still move somewhat within their sockets while the eyeball itself does not move like it does in mammals.

Would mean less work to animate the eyes on Sethrak.

If you are interested in a more social reptile look into tegus, they aren’t perfect but they are certainly the most “dog-like” herp you could keep.

I’m sure they could breed them even more social/domestic eventually.

As a hordie and fanatic Vulpera lover, I’d happily allow the Alliance to accept the Sethrak into their ranks. I’d love to see them included on the race roster, they are fascinating and offer a unique model that I’d love to see on a playable character. They would bring something exciting and new to the Alliance that is largely different than the options they currently have, and though they are more of a beast race the Alliance don’t have anything that remotely resembles this type of character model. They are threatening and powerful and could make great allies.
