Unofficial Sethrak Discussion Thread 🐍

Can’t wait till Blizzcon so that I can watch with glee as the last bit of hope for the Sethrak community is snuffed out.

It wont be snuffed out. There are people still wanting ogres and arakkoa, and high elves despite being told numerous times no. if we dont get sethrak announced this blizzcon, the hope will keep lasting for years to come. Sorry to spoil your rude demeanor.

I can’t wait until your racial leaders become loot pinatas.

Snuffed out or not they will never happen especially on alliance.

what? no they’re not. night elves don’t worship a Loa…

yes they have. clearly you haven’t played horde side.

it’s not. like at all lmao. horde is literally fighting their own internal forces RIGHT NOW.

This is not the same. lmao read your lore first please. Loas are not WIld Gods. They don’t even derive from the same source anymore. Trolls ascended while Wild Gods are a necessity. Argument has every ground if you played BOTH factions. missed me again.

Who has two horns and taught druidism? CENARIUS! Oh and there’s Ashamane, Ursoc and Ursol, and Aviana and Aessinia and Malorne and many others. Loa are Wild Gods.

Uh huh sure. That’s why all of them are getting clapped in irons and having their settlements razed.

No, you’re not. You’re fighting the Lich Queen, and your own stupid governmental system. Let me know when half of the Horde pledges Allegiance to N’zoth and tries to take control of the rest.

Wild Gods are Loa, some Loa though are more spirits than Wild Gods. I didn’t know worshipping something made you a Horde race though.

Guess Blood Elves should be on the Alliance because they worship the light.

Loa and Wild Gods are the same force. Things often have different names based on the cultures and languages that named them. For an example, look at Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, they have three different names for the exact same “god”. Their beliefs may be different, and the god may represent different things for each of them, but it is still the same god.

Loa, Wild Gods, August Celestials are no different, three different names for the same entities.

Just stop replying to him. @_@ You’re getting the discussion off topic. Plus he’s only looking to get you riled up, which so far is working. Just ignore him and he’ll stop, don’t reply to anymore of his posts if he makes them. It’s that simple.

Inaccurate statement!
They just serve your Patronizes Sethraliss!
They do not worship any other Loa!
Nor do vulperas show to be devoted to any loa!
And they can be shamen!

Dwarves and draeneis are shamen and worship no loa!
Alliance could welcome Sethraks and their religions
with the same tranquility that received druids, shamen and the cult of the LIGHT!

Like other loas that were there, but like other loas, Sethraliss just attended and said nothing to Talanji!

The loa serpent did not speak supporting or promising support!
She just recognized Talanji as zandalar leader!
Sethraliss has the same participation as Jani during the coronation!

The conclusion of your argument is very graceful!

Afraid that the alliance, at least in the end, will receive an allied race that is as vibrant as it is vulpera and motivates people to have at least one alliance sethrak?

“Loa” is the name given by the trolls to the beings they worship as deities, such as the Wild Gods, including the Astral Guardians, but also other entities such as C’Thraxxi, wisps and spirits like Bwonsamdi or Zanza. The first, early troll tribes already called Kalimdor’s elusive Wild Gods as such, and lived among them on the Zandalar Mountains. Countless loa exist, most weak, but some very powerful. Most are shapeless, whereas others have animal or creature forms. The Zandalari believe that powerful, enlightened members of their tribe can become loas upon their death. Some loa, like Gonk, can enter the Emerald Dream.A few of the more famous loa
include Hakkar, Shadra, Bwonsamdi, Gonk, Akali, Shirvallah, Nalorakk and Hir’eek."

no.

no again

at this point you’re only trying to see what u wanna see and it doesn’t exist.

blood elves don’t worship the light jesus wtf man. at least come with basis or facts. im done u have no argument to opinionate on.

Literally all the Loa’s named here except Shirvallah ascended into Loas. Hence not wildgods. Missed me at old gamepedia arcaic lore.

Dude, Wild Gods don’t “ascend” into Loas, they’re just named differently.

“Loa (aka spirit gods ) is the name given by trolls to the beings they worship, such as the Wild Gods, beings such as Kith’ixor, G’huun, or spirits like wisps. Countless loa exist, most weak, but some very powerful. Most are shapeless, whereas others have animal or creature forms. Powerful, enlightened Zandalari can become loa upon their death - or so it is believed.”
Some of them are Wild Gods (most likely) and some of them are random spirits…Loa it’s just a name, not a entity like Elune

Gonna need some strong citation on this.

Given that your best argument against things is “no”, I’m guessing you can’t rise to the challenge.

This topic is becoming less about Sethrak and more about Wild Gods, Loa, and other beings of higher power.

:\ Can you guys just stop taking Kalgromash’s bait? He’s only doing it to rile you guys up and get you upset. Just report his posts as trolling.

I’ve explained the Wild Gods/Loa/August thing twice in this thread alone, the WoWpedia exists to back me up on this as well, back to Sethrak or go create a Wild Gods vs Loa thread somewhere else.

After the leaks…i’m kinda scared with Sethraks as AR. But It does open the possibility for a Dragonkin race i guess

I personally support the Titanguard Class idea > Dragonkin race since that gives a similar thing to Demon Hunters in which they’re ‘technically’ a different race (ie Felblood or Demon Elves), also makes the Wildhammers and Dragonmaws an AR choice in the future due to them having dealt with dragons alot too.

Like imagine a Dragonfied Orc with scales from the Red or Black Dragonflights, a High Elf with Bronze or Blue scales and time markings, all abilities tailored to dragonflights and such to make them feel like Dragonfolk, still tempted to write a makeshift concept of one.

As much of a dragon fan I am, and have always been, im not too keen on the idea of players having a dragon race/class. I feel it kinda ruins the sanctity of the dragons already in the story.

Hakkar and Bwonsamdi are the same as Wild Gods, they are the same force. As for G’huun, G’huun is a fake god, given that title by the trolls that worshiped it. You really should do some research or give up on arguing a debate that you are clearly wrong in.
