The more options the better.
Nixxiom did a video on 5 races that he feels should be made playable in WoW and he included Naga.

yep, we really need a Naga race in wow. I think its a right time for players to feel represented and included.
Just giving a bump for playable Naga.

Crendor who did a for fun video of 10 races he wants to see playable and the Naga were #8.
What capital Naga, as playable race, could they get? Here is what I think it could make a good capital for them:
I would prefer a carved out zone in nazjatar, so much architecture and it’s the height of the underwater empire

Top 12 Races That Should be Playable appeared in my YouTube recommended section and Naga were amongst the list.
The Eternal Palace raid has an underwater city on it’s doorstep they could use.
Vashj’ir is my pick for a starting zone.
Absolutely massive, completely underwater. Technically right off the coast of gilneas. Perfectly ripe area for a massive zone overhaul without completely requiring new resources.
It just requires finishing the zone and turning the unfinished water dungeon into a new leveling instance.
I saw posts talking about Paladins expanding to include new races and to be honest, I can easily see that happening with Midnight. After all it is suppose to be this clash between the Light and Void, so it feels the perfect time for it.
It honestly made me wonder how the Naga would work with Paladins. Would they make their own group or could we see Naga join existing Paladin groups?
Like could Horde Naga join the Blood Knights? Would Alliance Naga join a Night Elven Paladin group?
With Patch 11.1.7 we are getting a new feature known as Lorewalking, which allows us to see story lines from Warcraft’s past.
I hope that the Naga get included and moments I think would be cool to see are:
- The creation of the Naga.
- The rise of Nazjatar.
- Illidan calling the Naga to the surface.
In thinking about it, they could also include moments to foreshadow what path playable Naga could take. For example showing the Naga partnering with the Blood Elves could signal Horde Naga or them helping Illidan save Tyrande could signal Alliance Naga.
If we get both scenarios, then it could signal Neutral Naga.
It could be interessing to know more about this event with the Lorewalking.

These 10 ‘NEW’ Races Could Save WoW’s FUTURE! appeared in my YouTube recommended section and Naga were amongst the list.
Naga have a lot of interesting potential. Would love to see them bring some bite to the Alliance or the Horde honestly.
Hey, where is the unofficial playable CENTAUR race ?
If you want a post about playable centaurs, then make a post about playable centaurs.
This Tuesday we get Patch 11.1.7 and should get the reveal of 11.2 soon after, with us drawing closer to the Midnight reveal.
Now with us Azshara return rumors, I do think there are good odds of us getting a Rebel Naga Renown, which would hopefully open the door to playable Naga.
11.2: The Ghosts of K’aresh has been revealed.
Nothing directly Naga was shown, but it does bring us another step closer to Midnight and playable race announcements are a good expansion draw in.
I thought I heard somewhere that Chris Metzen wanted playable Naga but for some reason was unable to bring them into the game as a playable race. With him in charge, does anyone think it’s likely that he will bring playable Naga?
