Unoffical Playable Sethrak Discussion Thread

Your people are also predominantly blue.

Honestly you can pick most races in this game and they almost all amount to some form of human. They’re all humanoid after all.

Orcs, Green/Brown humans with tusks and thicker bodies.
Trolls, varying colors of human with tusks and modified feet and hands.
Forsaken… They’re literally dead humans.
Tauren, Ox-human hybrids with modified hands and feet.
Ect.

Overall I’d rather sethrak be a neutral Allied Race. Though I do not mind them being either Horde or Alliance exclusive.

As an Alliance player I’d prefer a race that wasn’t as close to human as many of the ones we’ve recently received. Something like Sethrak is a good and neat fit.

I find Sethrak to have several Alliance feeling ideals and their much more Horde look makes me quite interested for an Alliance AR, though I think Furbolg, Arrakoa, Jinyu/Ankoan would also all be of a similar vein and make some sense.

You won’t play it, and neither will most of the Alliance.
Go take a look around the Stormwind AH (or any Alliance hub) and count the amount of non-human/nelf players you see. I bet you won’t even reach 10.
Races being humanoid doesn’t mean they all look the same: A Tauren and a Draenei are humanoid, but they’re very distinct from a human; meanwhile the only thing that separates a nelf or velf from a human is the ears.

Fezzy, why are you talking to the green creature? Just smile and move along :grinning:

Few years back Alliance players were asking for Dark Iron options, they got the full race and it turns out it is as unpopular as regular dwarves.
You can lie to yourself but you can’t lie to statistics and the devs know that Alliance players only like humans and purple humans.

Listen to the very unique tall, slim and blue human here; just smile and move on.

Clearly. Looking through their post history they seem to only search for reasons to argue.

Oh well, no helping some folk. They just gotta be negative.

Glad you’re doing well.

And yes, Sethrak for the players!

I had another dream Sethrak were announced to be playable.

I’m so sad I keep having these dreams. :weary:

I have enough trouble dealing with them not being playable in real life. Can’t imagine how bad it’d be if I were having to wake up once in awhile from thinking they were playable.

The dissapointment I think might kill me.

I think adding Sethrak :snake: to Alliance with a raiding racial will help balance the faction ratio and will give Vulpera vice versa race. Adding reptile races would be awesome and new, Horde can have Sourak :crocodile: . We really don’t need any more furry, elf and humanoid races.

What sort of racials would you like to see with Sethrak?

They definitely have some good potential to have some solid ones.

Gotta admit, Sethrak for Alliance and Saurok for the Horde would be a pretty hype announcement. Everyone gets a reptile! :lizard:

Let’s get some reptiles on that character creation screen! :snake: :crocodile: :turtle:

A lust type racial that gives yourself and your entire party/raid a power buff for 10 sec or a an interrupt racial.

I could see either doable. A sort of intimidate style racial. They have both a hood and rattle. Which are used for those sorts of things.

I’m trying to think how it would work as a lust/hero though… Hm.

And that would have been enough for me. I never really expected anything done during Shadowlands related to further customization.

But Blizzzard’s response to almost 2 years of player suggestions on forums, twitters and more, was disappointing.

I have been a subscriber since 2010, always renewing every 6 months.
After this lack of harmony with the players, in unsub.
There is nothing done in Shadowlands that deserves my time and money, the way Blizzard thinks.

I am very attached to my toons after investing time and money in them but even marriages end in a day.

My friend, I respect your decision, but if I may…

Blizzard is mainly concerned with recurring 6 month subs, then 3 month, then 1 month. Followed by non-recurring subs, then token players.

If you were a 6 month recurring sub, you could send them a message and continue to play if you just remove the recurring part.

Again, I totally understand if your dissapointment is strong enough to quit altogether, but I know I cannot abandon the stories and friends I’ve made along the way.

This could give you a half way point without having to abandon it entirely.

Plus I like seeing you in these threads.

I still have 4 more days of credited time. I almost didn’t buy Shadowlands after all the antics that went Beta for Azerith to the alliance with zero being of achievement that I had with an expansion where the alliance was the big joke at all.

I hoped that in shadowlands, at least something for players regarding customizations would be taken seriously.

I didn’t expect anything from an expansion where we will have to see Sylvanas be redeemed by force, whether we like it or not.

At the moment, I am aimless.
I imagine coming back after 1 or 2 month maybe, but for now, I’m tired of Blizzard and its ACME way of doing things.

I need a vacation from Hazzy, Danuser and all the jokes.

I understand.

I’m so close to needing that myself.

Take the time you need, and when you come back drop in on us. We’ll keep fighting for the cause while you’re away.

Heres hoping Blizzard manages to change course in the coming years.
