Before the 1.11 (the OG Naxx Patch) nerf. The OG WF with 3 hits per proc might be OP but it’s underpowered at the moment. Especially with taking away a class mechanic such as reincarnation. Paladin’s can still bubble.
The OG WF Shaman video Unbreakable (http s://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8_YwfqOoHI) was before the 1.11 nerf

I’m all for reverting sham back to prenerf, and honestly its for the best… Just revert to full on pre-1.11 Sham full on… Tho you see this comes with the trade off that many things work differently, but overall that would be more interesting, and fun.
There is A LOT of things people get 1 shot by in vanilla pvp, including the example I gave you. Blizzard didn’t make changes with pvp balance in mind back then.
You have the freedom to not accept a duel with an enhancement shaman if your class is a rock and your enemy is paper.
Another factor for allowing chain proccing is the guaranteed threat ripping that would happen in raids. It would simply be unusable.
What I would like to see is smoothing out the damage profile. Something like increasing WF proc to 40% chance, but reducing or removing the extra AP bonus on the additional hits.
Enhance isn’t even good at duels with windfury.
You can duel an ele shaman with elemental mastery and you’re just dead in one hit so.
These days the pre nerf windfury just wouldnt change anything except very marginally increasing their pve dps and also increasing their threat
