I typically play Alliance since Cata. I’m giving Horde a try again just to feel something. Trying to unlock all the Allied Races, and right now I’m doing the True Orcs. I have to get to the Blasted Lands from Orgrimmar…but how?
I took the portal to the Dark Portal that the Thrallmar mage offers in the portal room but it won’t let me walk back through the Dark Portal to the Blasted Lands. So I took the Portal back to Orgrimmar.
Again, I haven’t played Horde seriously since Wrath. What’s the best way to the Blasted Lands as a non-mage, from Orgrimmar?

I created a DH back then (cause they were high level) to go and do the unlock stuff. Cause you can unlock them from any Horde character. Then used the same one for the HM Tauren and Vulps. Not sure which race/class starts the highest anymore, but if you bought Midnight, you could boost a Shaman (a class you like) on a Horde race and then go for it. Much faster, but with no boost, my advice would be looking at the unlock guide and leveling an alt on a class you love.

Get a Mage to give you a portal to Stonard, other option is Zep to Stranglethorn > flight paths or mount up and head to Blasted Lands.

Unrelated, this is the worst AR unlock ive done.

Hearth to Legion Dalaran, go to the portal pad in the middle tower, run down to the bottom, take the portal to Karazahn, and fly over to the Blasted Lands.

I see you have not experienced the long and overly complicated unlock of the KulTirans that ended in running Siege of Boralus

you can skip the siege now by talking to the guy at the door i think or is it the guy who gives you the quest
