I’ve been lurking these forums for a while and took the advice I’ve seen to help, checking out WoWhead to try and find the quest I’m missing to unlock Ny’alotha but I’ve gotten no where with it so I thought I’d see if the folks here could help me out.
I’m trying to get into Ny’Alotha, but I can’t seem to find the entrance. I went through the black empire campaign and ran through every quest on WoWhead to see if I’ve completed them, it shows I did. But when I go to the current assault I don’t see it. People in my guild say it’s currently in Vale and they see the raid over white petal lake. On my character Arvord the assault shows in Uldum and I don’t see the raid icon on the map, or anything where it’s supposed to be.
Does anyone have an idea of where I should go next to try and figure this out? I know GMs can’t give quest hints to help me figure it out so I thought I’d ask here.
The entrance is in 1 of 2 places i dont recall need to unlock it its either in uldum or vale of eternal blossoms.
I’m trying to figure out what I need to unlock it, I have all the 8.3 quests complete, have horrific visions, and even have a quest to complete the raid, but my game is showing a different zone than the one my guildie saw with the entrance.
Have you spoken with Zidormi at the Seat of Knowledge in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms? She will change the phase of the zone for you. If you are not in the Assault phase, her dialogue will show:
“Can you return me to the present time?”

I will try that! I did click on the invasion option to show the assault in vale, but the raid icon still didn’t populate. I’ll do that now though.
Make sure you are tracking dungeon entrances on the world map as that also includes raid entrance icons.
Just be aware that any quest objectives for the raid will cover the entrance icon.

Keep in mind Nya’lotha moves between the Vale and Uldum.
