Hey guys, hope this thread is under the correct category. I’m having trouble unlocking Nyalotha. I’ve scoured wowhead and reddit posts looking for the way to start the black empire campaign but I can’t see any of the listed quests available. I have the heart of azeroth somehow even though I didn’t play this character through BFA. I last played in WoD and then used my boost to get this guy current. Any ideas about where I should look? I’ve checked Zuldazar for Valeera, Halls of Origination for Magni, and Blackwing Descent for Wrathion but none of them were there nor offering quests. Pls help!

Stupid question, but this is the gold, artifact quality Heart of Azeroth, and NOT the purple epic Heart of Azmerloth right The gold one is the bfa version, and the purple is a DF quest reward.
Since you said you have the Heart of Azeroth already, double check the Vale of Eternal Blossoms (Pandaria), and Uldum (Kalimdor) for N’zoth invasions, and check your bank, and bags for the legendary cape from BFA (Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve), to make sure you haven’t already done it and just don’t remember.
Make sure you have the cape before raid, it’s important, some bosses will mind control you on pull without it.
If you do not have the cape, and don’t see the invasions, you may be at one of the “weird” points in the quest chain where you need to go off and do another chain instead to continue the heart quest chain, so you could try to do the into to Nazjatar, and I think you need to do Mechagon at some point during the quest line too, but it’s been a while so that could be wrong. Magni could also be at Hyjal, or the Halls of Origination (but you said you checked there already, so he’s probably not there). You could also check for the earthen in Dazar’alor for the earthen that normally starts the quest chain, and see if maybe the boost broke something?
Keep in mind tho, there is no legacy buff for BFA raids, like Ny’alotha yet, so even with the cape, you might need a group to help you.

When in doubt, check on Magni in the heart forge in silithus. 9 times out of 10 when you can’t progress the main BFA campaign, it’s because magni is blocking it.

Gotcha. So I do have the actual Heart of Azeroth and I’ve done the quests before on diffeerent characters through BFA so I kinda know what to look for just not where to look for it. I’m going to try re running through all of the BFA story to see where that gets me.
As for BFA not being legacy, do you think it’s possible at all to solo it as a 470 fury warrior?

Wow you were spot on. Even though I had the Heart of Azeroth I had to go back to Magni in Silithus and do The Heart Forge which started Return of thee Black Prince. Ty everyone for the help.

I’m not sure, I haven’t tried. I don’t play warrior, and I don’t have anyone higher than 454 ilvl, but maybe?
I’ve only done the last 2 bosses on LFR, and I needed a friend to help out with N’zoth back in sl I think it was, and I can’t think of any mechanics on the last 2 bosses that would stop you, but I’ve only fought the last 2 so idk how any others work.
There happens to be a thread about this rn, I was just in it. maybe someone mentioned Ny’alotha in there? I didn’t read all the posts
Ha! Knew it! Magni is sitting in the heart forge, giggling manically to himself while the entire playerbase runs around in circles. It’s been happening since BfA launched. Magni is the original crystal troll in wow.
