I can’t find a straight answer to this anywhere. Is it still possible to unlock molten front? I know what happens in the story line to ysera and I don’t know if that’s why she’s not there for me to turn in a quest to. Help plz
What quest is it? And yes it is possible.
It should be, yes.
You have to complete the Mount Hyjal questline (IIRC), then the breadcrumb quest in Hyjal.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Yesterday one of my characters unlocked it as I was questing around Hyjal, it is definitely still working.
I have the quest as hyjal burns and when I go to turn it in to ysera she isn’t there. Magni bronzebeard is there instead.
I think you need the quest line and some rep.
You have to do the quest line at least through turning that side of the map green again.

Also I’ll mention that I’m doing this on a lvl 120 hunter. Not the toon I’m posting as. I got there after flying on aronus and magni was there. I relogged and he was still there. Ysera is nowhere to be found.
Is the western part of Hyjal called the Regrowth? If so then you just need to do the dailies to get enough Mark of the World Tree. If not, there are some quests left unfinished somewhere. Maybe try using Wholly & Grail ?
All the quests are unfinished lol. That’s what I’m saying. I just started the quest line tonight. I got the mount hyjal quest from the warchief command board, went to Moonglade, flew on the dragon to nordrassil and went to turn in the quest to ysera but she’s not there. Magni bronzebeard is there and there is azerite enemies and stuff there instead. I also tried to turn in a quest to thrall “just south of the world tree” and he is also not there.
There’s likely a Bronze dragon in humanoid form (generally Zidorni?) around to switch the area back to pre BFA.

I would also write a ticket if something is not adding up right. They maybe can turn you in the right direction if nothing else is working. Just a suggestion.
First you need to complete Hyjal’s questline
Then a quest should unlock at the Shrine of Malorne that will begin the whole chain. IIRC it takes a little bit to unlock the actual zone, and there’s a few days of shenanigans around Hyjal, but that may have just been a cataclysm thing.
Do the Mount Hyjal quests and you’ll eventually get it. There’s quite a few breadcrumbs that will lead you there, once you’re at the proper level for Cata content.

Have you completed the part of the BfA questline involving Magni at Hyjal?
It would seem there is a phasing issue.
(I’m not sure if Zidormi is around anyway)
Do you have the quest with magni sitting in your logs that you need to complete yet? That phases out the zone, but the zone will return to normal once you complete that quest.
It’s definitely because of the magni quest line. I completed it and it phased me back to the right zone. Thanks everyone for your help!
