I explored a lot the first week that Zereth Mortis came out and managed to figure out and unlock the entirety of the Locus Shift teleport network.
Unfortunately, this seems to break the “A Means to an End” questline by automatically completing the quest, “Match Made in Zereth Mortis”, with no reward nor explanation of continuation of the questline.
After completing “Borrowed Power” and “Pop Goes the Devourer!”, I was given no further quests. Some researching through wowhead lead me to have to use the quest completed check script ( /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(64889)) ) and find out that the quest “Match Made in Zereth Mortis” was already completed.
I then had to teleport to the Primus Locus in order to pick up the quest, “Between A Rock & A Rock”. After that, I got the quest, “Searching High and Low”, teleported to the Ultimus Locus, and it was smooth sailing for completion from there.
This is leading to a lot of confusion and frustration from players who have been exploring all of Zereth Mortis from the beginning. And on top of that, we are missing out on the 100 reputation that is gained from the “Match Made in Zereth Mortis” quest that we cannot complete.

Same issue, I’m stuck in Gravid Repose unable to port anywhere.
The teleports don’t even work for me.
I’m in between 2 quests, and can’t reach the spot to pickup the next quest. I can’t abandon anything.
also if you skipped A Match Made in Zereth Mortis by exploring the other crystals it apparently isnt allowing your characters into the bonus room either, i got the “new flight path discovered” prompt during the Means to an End quest, but when i go into the interior lotus it wont let me click the extra crystal to go to the extra room
EDIT: found a work around, there is a box in the room with the sand piles you can click that will unlock the flight path, so blizzard does have a work around, just took me awhile looking around to find it

that’s kind of odd, because i solved most of it as well and didn’t have any issues.
I imagine you mean the Terrestrial Cache room downstairs but I can’t find it. Anything specific for the location?

I didn’t have this issue despite having unlocked every Locus teleport possible prior to this week (all the main ones except Secondus) so I’m wondering what is actually causing this issue besides having done some early “work”.
Yea not sure what is breaking it on my end. But I can’t get the Rune off the wall and I’m unable to get the “inner loctus”
Yep, gotta love being locked out from the new story, flying and falling behind on the rep slog due to a bug.
I must have grabbed the first rune before and teleported, but either logged off or left without getting the next rune in that room.
So NOW I cannot get to the 2nd room to grab that rune because the Locus Shifter does not recognize that next room when I use it.
I found a work around to get all the other runes, but this 2nd one being locked inside a building means I am screwed until support helps me.

Same but nothing I do triggers “Searching High and Low”. Blizz really failed on this one.

I’m in the same boat. I exploed the zone and found the 1st Rune by just looking around. I found the others by just following and exploring and now the game doesn’t offer me a chance to the second room.
I’m thus locked out of flying and falling behind in the game. Feels really nice to work so hard and be punished for playing the game. /s

Its just another slap in the face. Like I get things happen… but being punished this hard for exploration, for doing things they had active… like cmon. People were gonna explore and click on runes that they can click.

I’m hit by the same bug. Without being labeled a boot licker, it’s a bug dude - nobody’s intentionally punishing you.
They probably QAd the quest with characters that hadn’t clicked the items the week before, I can see how this was missed. Not excusing it, just totally see how something like that can slip.

I did the same thing and started the Locust Shift port discoveries a few weeks ago, and in order to get up to the rubble for “Between a rock & a rock” i had to have someone fly me up there.
I now have all of the achievements except for “A Means to an End” and Pelagos is nowhere to be found. He should be right next to the Ancient Translocator in Haven. Here’s a screenshot of my current “Unlocking the Secrets” achievement progress
Here’s a screenshot of what I see (rather do not see.)
ATM I’m SOL, and this stinks.

One day down and still no fix that I’ve found. This is terrible hope to see good news in the morning/resset.

Is Blizz going to do nothing? The fix better come with a free month this is ridiculous.

I have the same issue. I previously explored Gravid Repose and turned the Locus Shift into a Flight Master with no connecting paths. Now I can’t start Between a Rock & a Rock quest.

Do the GMs ever comment that they are working on the issue? Been a whole day
