Unlocking Highmountain Tauren on Alliance Character

I think I already know the answer but, if I have the achievement “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and I’m exalted with the Highmountain Tribe, can I unlock the allied race even though I’m on alliance? For example, I know you need to speak to some NPC on the Horde side after getting the achievements to actually get access to the race so could I speak to that NPC on a horde character and unlock it even though the achievement was obtained on another character?

Thanks in advance for the responses, if it’s a simple “no” then just say “no.”

Yes you can. You can get all requirements on Alliance just fine.

Awesome, so how would I get access to them? Are they simply unlocked the instant you get the two achievements? Thanks!

You’ll have to have a Horde character at 110 that can do the allied race scenario first.

Oh no you still need a level 110+ Horde alt to go to their embassy and do the intro quests. But you can finish the rep and achieves on Alliance to unlock those quests.

That is correct. You’ll still need to meet the campaign requirements on your horde character, but the achievement is the important part. I did the same, my main is alliance, but I unlocked it on my horde (only sees the story character) just fine.

Awesome! Thanks for the help understanding everyone! Luckily I have a 110 alt on horde so I can do this. Have a good one!
