for gods sake Blizz, you make skips for everything else; why is there ZERO option to skip the tutorials on how to do these stupid puzzles??? I’ve struggled through it on my main and now I have to do the stupid mezzonic puzzle on my alts as well?

added that. didn’t help. might only work in the actual cache ones and not the tutorials
glad you find doing the mezzonic puzzle easy. for me, it sucks. always get Pocopoc to use energy to bypass it if it’s a world quest. the other 2 are easy as anything but the mezzonic one can get stuffed

Worked just fine for me on the tutorials with my alts. You might have something interfering. I’d suggest disabling other addons and see if it works.

Literally the only thing required for the WQ is to research the option that lets you decipher them in the first place.
Maybe it’s different if you’ve never done it on that account, but for alts? Nah. You can just leave Firim with his “!” for as long as you want.

I do get OPs dilemma. My ability to solve the puzzles is rather low and so I also end up using pocopoc to solve them.
There’s a particular achievement in Nazjatar I’m after and I dislike that it’s locked behind a very tight reaction puzzle. Still working kn it. ><
I only did the tutorial on 1 char that unlocked flying. The other 25 see the wq just fine.
I am 99% sure that the world quest did not appear until I finished the 3 quests. and yeah it was on an alt
I’d take a screenshot of an alt I’ve unlocked the WQ on but never bothered to do the tutorial quests…but I’ve completed the WQ for the day and can’t.
Every time I do one, it’s easier and faster than before, because I’m learning instead of skipping.
I love the puzzles, but yeah, even I agree there should be an option to skip the tutorial ones on alts. I appreciate Firim’s concern, but I’ve got them locked down by this point.
I had the ability to do world quests before even unlocking the ability to do the tutorials.
I had to spend resources to unlock the tutorials just so I could take this picture with world quests on the map and the tutorial in my log:

Ive not used any add ons for the puzzles. Mostly because I like puzzles in real life and I think it helps me to concentrate and work things out. Once you get the method worked out they are generally pretty easy. Its all to do with being able to recognise patterns and think forward. Probably why I enjoy chess.

I shared a thought on puzzles and how it can help me with my memory issues to keep mentally active. Im sorry if that offends you, it wasn’t intended to be a brag. I recognise that not everything is easy for everyone and I should probably have worded it a bit different to say that once I figured it out it was easier for me. You really can’t afford to step out of line an inch on this forum, can you.
