Unlocking BFA World Quests?

Hi! I’m not too sure where to ask this, but I’ll just do it here.

I just started playing a couple weeks ago and I like it so far :slight_smile: I’ve been unlocking various things, but one thing I’ve been trying to unlock but can’t are the world quests for the Battle For Azeroth expansion. I’ve been looking up on different websites for how to do it, and the most common answer is that I need to be level 50 and have Friendly reputation with the three main factions.

I play as Alliance and I’m currently level 56, and I have Friendly reputation with 7th Legion, Order of Embers, Proudmoore Admiralty, and Storm’s Wake, which I thought were the main factions. The only BFA factions I’m not Friendly with yet are Champions of Azeroth and Tortollan Seekers, but according to everything I’ve read, those don’t matter in unlocking world quests.

So I’m just kind of confused on what to do next, whether it’s that I’m missing something or if there’s some kind of bug? I would appreciate any help on it! Thank you for reading :slight_smile:

I’ve ever played alliance, but this video might help. Have you unlocked the three footholds in horde zones? This video is almost a year old so things may have changed.

I have a character that only has honored rep with Proudmoore and no other reps who can do world quests now that she is 50.

The character was an old level 110 boost that got squished to 45. Leveled from 45-50 in BfA after SL release.

You need to get the Heart of Azeroth before the quest to unlock World Quests will show up. The Earthen Guardian NPC a bit outside of the Inn in Boralus should have the quest “A Dying World.” (Unfortunately, this isn’t in most guides as before Shadowlands, you couldn’t do any BfA content without first getting the HoA, so it was just assumed.)

That makes sense. Both the characters I linked have the Heart.
