Unlock alliance on crusader strike

Please unlock the Alliance character creation on crusader strike. I’ve been trying to get my step son to play with me but he cannot join the server… All of my toons are on this server and i really do not wish to join a dead server… Every single other server is dead… I tried to see if every server was alliance locked but it turns out theres just one more server wildgrowth you can make an alliance toon on… Crusader strike is only 55/45 alliance horde. theres other servers way higher than crusader strike in alliance pop fix this issue its like you dont want money lol

Wild growth alliance is fine. You can’t make a character there?

Some people enjoy the war in their Warcraft.

No. Not until there is Balance. Server locking is one of the best things done in classic. I was Incendius when ally killed the sever ruining one of the last 50/50 servers.

I get that you want to play with your step-son, but the server lock exists for a reason. Crusader Strike may be 55/45 Alliance-Horde, but overall population balance matters more than just raw percentages. Blizzard put this restriction in place to prevent one faction from completely overwhelming the other, which has happened on multiple servers before.

If every other server is dead, that’s an issue with overall player distribution, not just faction locking. If Blizzard were to unlock Crusader Strike for Alliance, that imbalance would spiral even further, making the server worse for everyone long-term.

At the end of the day, the goal isn’t just to let anyone join wherever—it’s to keep the game playable and competitive. Sometimes, you just have to roll with what’s available instead of demanding a change that could break the server.

Agree with this here. If you look at servers in the past, the way it always ends up is one faction dies off and it becomes a single faction server. Pvp servers only work long-term when you have some sort of population balance with factions. No one wants to be on the side that just gets endlessly ganked.

Incendius was amazing… True faction balance (within like 3 percent)… Then the all the ally flocked there and it want to 75/25 and I think my guild stayed till 90/10, we even got a scarab lord with that ratio…

Its for the good of the game, sucks when you can’t play with friends, but its best overall…

Well this post

is 100% off-topic, 100% derailing, and violates the ToS as disruptive behavior. This thread is discussing Alliance character creation restrictions on Crusader Strike, yet instead of engaging with the actual issue, you’ve posted something completely unrelated.

Now, back to the real discussion—Alliance creation should remain locked until faction balance is stabilized. Crusader Strike sits at 55/45 Alliance-Horde, and unlocking Alliance creation prematurely would only push the faction imbalance further, potentially leading to one-sided server dynamics like we’ve seen in past Classic realms.

Faction balance is crucial for PvP and overall server health. The restrictions in place are there for a reason—to prevent one faction from overwhelming the server population and ruining the integrity of competitive play.

If Blizzard were to unlock Alliance creation now, what safeguards would ensure faction balance doesn’t spiral out of control? Let’s keep the conversation on how Blizzard should handle population management moving forward. What’s your take?

You are harassing forum posters with AI generated responses. I’ll be opening a ticket to the proper authorities. Also your post is AI generated as per my software.

This is textbook hypocrisy—your entire posting history shows a pattern of off-topic distractions, yet now you’re claiming you’re going to report me for actually engaging in structured debate with well-supported arguments.

Not only is this a clear attempt to silence discussion, but throwing out baseless accusations like this is also a ToS violation in itself. Making false claims about harassment just because you don’t like the responses you’re getting is nothing more than an attempt to derail the conversation.

Now, back to the real topicAlliance character creation should remain locked on Crusader Strike until faction balance stabilizes. The 55/45 split is manageable right now, but unlocking Alliance prematurely would push that ratio further, leading to severe population imbalance. The entire reason Blizzard keeps server locks in place is to prevent one faction from overwhelming the other, ensuring long-term health of the realm.

Would lifting the restriction too soon cause the same problems we’ve seen in past Classic servers? Let’s focus on how Blizzard should approach this moving forward.
