I think removing the pathfinder requirement from previous expansion content is acceptable.
current expansion, I fully agree they need to complete the requirements. but content that is years old? let them fly.

If they want to start rewarding people who don’t pay them in that manner - hey I can play that game too.
It isn’t like the game is so enjoyable that people would miss it if they unsubbed.
I think current xpac should have pathfinder, old stuff should just come with flying.

I’ve thought it made sense just to make the old ones unlockable with gold. Maybe a large amount but whatever.

Yeah when I did draenor, while I didn’t complain a year ago when I did it for my alts, felt really silly having to do them when it just felt irrelevant.
They make big gold requirements in TBC etc then now it’s free… or automatic… why not the pathfinder stuff of the past.
(I dare find anyone that likes doing that stuff)

Why not just go all out? Give quitters and returners Flying, Allied Races/Heritage Armor of all types unlocks, a complete set of Epic quality Ilvl 415 armor/ weapons/rings and trinkets and a 120 boost, a free mount and throw in the next Xpac for free!

flight USED to just be a max level and gold thing and it wasnt a problem…edit…until blizzard made it a problem.

The whole pathfinder thing is just goofy.
Set a date. On that date everyone can get flight for max level and a reasonable gold cost.
Or…players who did do pathfinder get exactly what they get now…account wide flight.
PF was a solution to a problem that didnt exist.
Im either the sort to grind out all that crap…or Im not.
Personally Im not and dangling flight at the end of stick isnt going to change that.
I’ll just stop playing over the irritation factor.
Great business model they have there.

Older xpacs I do not care about. just give it a flat gold cost per character and if they want to do pathfinder to get it free in the future they can

God I keep repeating myself but honestly Pathfinder, if you keep it, make it make sense… have people explore the damn zones, do the story and unlock flying. Next zone same thing.
My actual idea would be, if you keep pathfinder, which they will, stop tying it with reputation.
Make it a fun goofy flying quest chain that gives you a Champions of Sky Tabard (name work in progress lol) and when you give that tabard to your alts, they can fly too. The Mile-Azeroth Club, lol.

110 boosts should come with a level 3 garrison, draenor flying and legion flying unlocked. You’re paying to be 110 and to go directly into BfA content. Shouldn’t have to go back to do things you paid money to skip.
I remember the old boost used to atleast come with the garrison but they don’t even give that anymore. You get absolutely nothing with the new boosts; just levels. If they added back incentives, they’ll probably make more money.
