everyone on my server has just plain given up on this worthless guy. He stands there until Blizzard takes him away. He anticipates which way you are moving and places what appeared to be avoidable AoE bombs in your path but they are for the most part one shot death traps, you might avoid 1 or 2, maybe even 5 but you WILL die, if not on the first pass you will be caught on the second or third attempt. When there is enough people on to take him down he only drops REP and some gold.

This is the summons from the deeps guy? Yep. Once it became apparent that its stopped dropping pearls, not just RNG hates you, ppl on the shards i’ve Been in feel he’s not worth the repair bills/time.
Unleashed Arcanofiend is the real final boss of BFA.

Once they changed it from just a stun to actually doing massive damage, yeah I stopped doing it. I must be missing something because it’s more annoying than the world boss with the vacuum that one shots. At least that you can in theory get away from.
I thought this mechanic was kind of fun tbh
Arcanofiend can perish though. Not sure what they were thinking with him, I only do him on ranged so I can run out of range every time he casts his instakill stuff
