Ugh … so i better make a new Toon then, as i respecced once and am at 5g now, which i not have. 10g is a bit hefty, Riding costs 10g.
So i am stuck 
Riding is 20g, mount is 80g for a total of 100g fyi

The riding training is 80g, the mount is 20g. It also has the 10% Honoured discount for 90g, and once PvP ranks are out, rank… 3? for 10% more.
No, the mount is 80g. I just bought it. Rep discounts naturally tho

mounts being cheaper was something like 1.12.2

Is Classic based off of 1.12 not 1.12.1? I honestly thought it was. That’d explain why, then.
Its not, unfortunately. The private servers I shall not name have been stuck with 1.12.1, which Blizzard used as their “reference client” or w/e for a pretty long time, at least as long as I played them
That is quite odd. I’m not sure why they chose this one and not one of the later patches, but I don’t really mind either way.

At Vanilla launch, the MOUNT cost a ton of money and the SKILL was quite cheap.
This was changed later (because people wanted to be able to buy a variety of mounts) and swapped - the SKILL became quite expensive and the MOUNT became cheap (hell, you could get the epic PvP mounts for 30 of each BG token, which was literally NOTHING).

… no, as discussed above, it was introduced in patch 1.12.1, which we are apparently not using, which is dumb AF.
So, getting my Epic mount is going to be STUPID easy, because ill buy the dirt-cheap riding skill at 60 and then just get 30 of each BG token. So Epic mounts will cost almost nothing, which is NOT true to Vanilla at any point. (because at all stages SOME part of it cost a ton of money).
