Unlearned Vial of the Sands HELP!

On dec 7 2020 my mage wanted to buy the naxx gloves off bmah…he was level 50 and I made my coffee and made a majestic journey to reach level 60

SO PUMPED UP TO GET THE NAXX GLOVES I unlearned alchemy and whatever my other professions was (i think enchanting) and got mining and herbalism

so i picked 17 rocks cause when I reached level 60 my mining skill was 17 and my herbalism skill at the moment on my mage is 147 (not bad)

so after some time, i noticed something, i have cata flasks and my ah toon sold a vial of the sands…ut ohhhhh

so yeah i attempted to open tickets and first response was “cant go back that far” well dec 7 2020 is too far back? then another response “not in the logs”…then 3rd responses was well sorry brah you unlearned alchemy, time to farm a new vial of the sands pattern brah

so yeah, as part of the playerbase, i demand we collectively demand the vendor in uldum (yasmin, the lady that sells the parts to make the mount) to sell you a recipe where if you unlearn alchemy and decide to relearn alchemy (in the future like legion and bfa mining/herbing) we can relearn the pattern again, cause that vial of the sands pattern, its been so long ago and people do forget a pattern they learned what, 7 years ago or so

i just want some constructive feedback from the playerbase cause my last ticket responses when i included this in my ticket said i am not being constructive (the word used was “derailment”) so yeah that is how the tickets treated me

maybe us the players can put pressure on these game devs to INCLUDE a pattern where we can relearn it, its a 7 year old recipe that is VERY hard to get (took me 300+ hours and many purchases of tol’vir fragments that were NOT CHEAP)

please playerbase, communicate this thread, more players in the future are going to run in the same issue as me, they will “forget they unlearned the pattern” cause its been so long ago…in the vial sands of time sarcasm

just hope this gets implemented in the game cause I will guarantee more tickets related to my issue will be upsetting players in the future over a “mistake” like the one i made

so man, one of the downsides of making professions weak is you can forget how valuable they could be.

I’m sure you wouldn’t have had this problem if you would had to level these up with the old system and never all the old xpac stuff before starting on the new.

Yeah this “one click mistake” was cause I was all hyped up to level a new character and even extra motivated to level him up in anticipation to win that xmog off bmah. Too bad everything just went to poo for me. Did not even win the xmog and lost 300+ hours and about 100k gold (cata gold 100k is like a lot more than now) for obtaining the recipe. Rip my time and gold investment during cata…sigh

that sucks man but you kind of crapped the bed when you decided to drop alchemy for mining… As someone who deals with a lot of older profession stuff, ever since they compartmentalized the professions to each expansion, the ONLY nice thing blizzards ever done for us is if you were 700 at the time, from WoD engi, you got ALL the lower tiered ones maxed instantly… It freaking sucks to go back trying to get the last 2-3 levels of bc engi or mining… badly… I kind of doubt they’ll ever change it though.

It’s sucks but that’s what happens if you have ANY mounts that are tied directly to your having whatever said profession requirement and you drop the profession.
