My day was winding down, and I felt like doing some PvE on Guuah. Don’t need to do Delves anymore, so let’s do LFR. One last go before we’re moving on to Undermine.
(The rare cloak dropped off Ras and I got a 93 and lost to a 94 and no i’m not salty at all why would you think that)
Anyway, in between queues, did some random flying around. Went to Azshara to stroll through Bilgewater Harbor, not much there so just randomly flying along the cliffside.
I do this because there’s a bunch of random things you can find out in the world. I call some of them “death huts” because they consist of some housing, a skeleton and maybe some meat. Completely untold stories of someone’s demise.
While flying along Winterspring’s cliffside I find a relatively high definition looking area: The trees looked a lot different than your average Cataclysm trees. Investigating, I found this small cave. This is way off the beaten path, there’s no way this is tied to a quest, at least not one I know.
What followed was the rest of my evening being spent sussing out a series of puzzles and finding relatively rare and obscure items both in the auction house and in the world to solve what was in the cave for a little prize.
I’m leaving details vague intentionally in case people want to discover what’s in there themselves, but it was real darn neat. Makes me wonder if there are little secret things that I have no idea about out in the world to find and delve into. Really made me remember, ‘hey, this is a whole darn world despite how streamlined things are now’.
Anything you all ran into that caught you completely off guard?
