Please allow the unity legendary to be bought with cosmic flux as you have with the conduits. It shouldn’t be locked behind revered rep anymore. I’m on a new account and now stuck behind the rep wall and stuck with a 265 belt with no versatility on it. At LEAST make it honored rep required if anything
cant u pretty much buy it with cosmic flux, u already have the memory to craft the 291 version
buy satchel with flux on main → go to korthia and buy crates to send soul ash and soul cinders
send to alt → craft leggo
Like Green said, pretty sure the memory is accountwide, you just have to make it.
That being said, it is kind of dumb to have it locked behind that if you just happened to start a different character or after Season 3 and don’t have it unlocked.
You need revered to craft it.
That or go through the campaign again for the lower level one.
For people returning to the game it’s a real headache.
Perfect example of the BS systems that drove us to quit earlier in the expansion.
you don’t on alts if you did it once. i promise you this. you don’t need to be revered on an alt, this character isn’t even revered.
You need revered on main tho
PITA for returning players
yeah but this guy was talking about alts, u can on an alt
edit: i see he said new account, unlucky. it should be buyable w/ flux anyway
OP is taking about getting it on a new account, ie not having revered yet
Options are:
-Grind campaign on every char for the crap one
-Grind rep to have the option to craft
It’s like blizz wants returning players to just leave again
Oi quick question; where do I get the conduit upgrade and what are the reqs? My alt needs to upgrade all his conduits from 226
278 conduits are 10k flux
Any rep requirements? And where at?
10k might take me a while
idk the req, but they’re in oribos to the left of the table where bolvar and co is. past the necro people
No rep requirement. Can confirm, as I returned recently.
Im on a new account with 1 character. I do not have the unity memory unlocked.
It’s like Blizzard wants to value the time of their existing customers also.
I’m almost always against Blizzard, but in this instance if I grinded the rep and than spent all the time crafting a second leggo for all my alts, and I have 11 of them, and all of a sudden Blizzard turn around and make it so all that work was for nothing I would be mighty pissed off at them for doing so.
And I’ve always said, always, I want a way for casual players to be able to grind solo content and still gear up, but, and I cannot stress this enough, it has to be over time and not with little to no work. I won’t accept anyone just showing up, pressing a button and getting gear for nothing, that’s not fair to all the players who came before them.
In this case, i already have 6 or 7 60s on a different account. The expansion ends in a couple of months. No use to put a month timegate on this stuff for new players.
OP isn’t asking for free, just asking for it to not be such a headache this late in the expansion.
I’m all for rewards mattering.
No, LFR shouldn’t just get X mount by default blah blah blah blah.
However, needing to do SUCH a long rep grind is massively off putting as a returning player.
I don’t even care about the iLvl. Unity is SO important for some classes, kyrian rogue for example.
What I do care about is not needing to do the same boring campaign on every character until I can craft it.
Let us craft the lower ilevel one until we get revered.
And I gave a solution. Just buy whatever is cheapest because at this point in the expansion if you are not pushing for your main to get KSM and whatever than the iLVL means nothing, it’s the leggo effect that matters.
They could just lower it to honored.
It’s not a thing any one will ever come to grind again, and the rep is just a slog at this point
Being stuck with cinch of unity for a few weeks isn’t rly the end of the world, if you’re just coming back by the time you get all the other gear you want you’ll be revered and it’s not an issue.
Doing the campaign + the weekly a few times + world boss + killing the jailer any difficulty (just go LFR easy)
will take you there relatively quickly
