Unique vendor items and their CD should be adjusted

This system of unique items in vendors has existed with pretty little dispute for a long time. However, because of the system in place for level caps, unique vendor camping has gotten pretty ridiculous. Lower the CD on these items since there’s no discernible reason to keep items like this time-gated, especially inconsistently.

The dark iron entrepreneur is a prime example. He sells fireworks, 3 heavy dynamite, and a callous axe. Dynamite is a common engineering item used, and is available at least once every 5-10 minutes from the vendor. The axe? At least a 30 minute CD, if Wowhead is to be believed (usually wrong about things). Why? There’s nothing that improves gameplay from it, all it does is reward people who work from home and/or are unemployed. Camping the peeps for HOURS, literally hours on end.

Ironically, these same people will probably not let you raid an instance because you’re not “Pre-bis” (as if they’d know what your class itemizing is at all). Perceived value of items is a cop-out for gold sellers to justify their antics. This will further accelerate as alchemy transmutes become available.

For those who want to equate this to pattern drops from NPCs, you can’t, because an NPC drop has to be acquired through actually playing the game. A mob dropping something is variable, but you earned it by killing the mob. A vendor having something is guaranteed. Guaranteed to be yoinked by someone multiboxing, or to actually be available, but not knowing that until you interact with it. If you can’t tell the difference, you’re part of the problem.

tl;dr nerf vendor CDs on items. Nothing but good comes from it. People can actually acquire things they want that does not disrupt gameplay, and will stick it to those that do
