Unintentionally hilarious moments in game

So I was thinking about the cinematic where Anduin is kidnapped and how silly it looked, with him not making any noise and the evil angels just casually picking him up while Genn stands there like a goof. It got me wondering what other moments in the game/story were supposed to be serious but ended up being hilarious?

I of course have to give a shoutout to 'IS HE THE BOMB THIS TIME?" and Bolvars weird crying face in the Shadowlands cinematic.

During the recap cinematic with Bolvar after losing to Sylvanas.

"I knew she would come."

Just the other day I saw two mages battling out in Eastern plagueland in classic, with world buffs no less. I was mind blown, I have never seen someone that crazy, so I sticked around in stealth to see how it panned out. After 3 minutes of duel they were both OOM (if you’re thinking “why don’t you help a fellow horde player” well I don’t help mages out of principle. They always get invited first to raids and I hate them and their one button rotation) So when they ran out of mana I thought “uh oh, now what?” To my surprise they both whipped out their wands and continued to go at it. That was the funniest thing I have seen in wow in long time.

I’m not sure if this fits, but after I rescued Baine from torghast and went to Oribos two of him ended up spawning. And when they went to the spot where he normal stays one stayed standing up and the other sat down…

I’m not sure if I could call that funny or a genuine nightmare…

If you know the lore (and seriously, it’s like… really recent) he did expect her there, he thought she was coming to wear the helm. He knew she had power and made a plan for what would happen should he fall and she took up the helm.

I had my character transmogged into the skimpy santa outfit over Christmas. There was a serious cutscene and I couldn’t stop laughing bc it reminded me of the Big Bird meme.

So he did know he would lose and it’s supported by lore too.

That’s even more hilarious.

LOL

Soccer boss in Nya’lotha. Our tank accidently hits chi torpedo and disappears over the edge.

Also soccer boss in Nya’lotha. Our first time there. Our other tank pulls her thinking she was just another trash mob.

I guess it doesn’t really count as unintentional but I liked to have never stopped laughing the first time I got the title, " Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent, and Disappointing Minions"

I really wish that was permanent title available.

That green dragon that you ride in the Hyjal intro

The voice acting is soooooo bad, it almost feels like satire

Happened a few times over the years but sometimes during BGs when I play a healer, I’ll run into an enemy player who is also a healer. Fighting commences but eventually we both just stop and goof off with emotes at each other until someone else shows up. And sometimes that person joins in too!
Those are my favorite PvP moments.

He made a plan for when she showed up and did battle with him.

The plan was very simple, the Four Horsemen were to kill whom ever won the fight as they would be in a weakened state.

Sylvanas did something he didn’t plan for. She had also done a good job at hiding her power.

Knowing that someone will come to try to take something and them ACTUALLY doing it are two different things.

I’m sure Bolvar was thinking “Let her come, I’ll beat her down”. Then he got ROFLStomped because he didn’t realize how much power she ACTUALLY had.

BFA intros had some gems, on both sides.

When I did the Alliance intro, things looked pretty dire, and then Jaina rocks up. I was like OMG, I just got saved by Gwen Stefani!

During the Horde intro, I was also cracking up when the undead troops come out to gas everyone… and there’s Marge Simpson leading the charge!

Well, it was funny to me!

Every scene where they are trying to tell a story of combat and emotional toll being taken as a result. It’s usually Is very fake feeling. But sometimes the Writers hit the nail on the head. And usually that will have something to do with Love and Loss. Or as modern times with Resurrection of Ysera that was rather emotional and real.

n’zoth’s death, and how it was just a rip-off of lotr was kinda funny, in a sad, sad way.
