Uninspiring Dracthyr Model

The easiest solution would be to simply make an option for visage form to work in combat. For example, you would only shift to Dracthyr form while casting things like breaths and hover. Everything else you’d be in humanoid visage for casting. You could even leave rotational things like disintegrate as a humanoid cast mainly.

Then, Blizzard wouldn’t have to spend the hundreds+ hours trying to make the armor sets all work for the Dracthyr.

i hate that they cant show gear, and if they don’t want to waste the man power/time they already said that they have an AI that reshapes healms for most races why not just have the Ai do it for the armor too. sure they man have to spend some time to look over the armor but no where near what it could be.

Also, a glyph, to keep our Visage form FOREVER, like druids that can do it for moonkins. I’m enjoying Evoker, but the visual is something that is making me feel bad playing it, specially when I’m login in the game, since I’m seeing a naked half dragon on my screen.

It does get delved into a bit more in the War of the Scaleborn novel. Neltharion began working on the Dracthyr during the war against the Incarnates as a way to bolster his ranks and counteract the Incarnate’s use of Tarasek.

My main issue and gripe with armor on Dracthyr is the fact that there isn’t a single pauldron that properly matches my color scheme. The Legendary (The one I still lack thanks to Blizzard’s incompetence) has the exact same color scheme as the gold and black variant I use, but every shoulder I try to wear is just slightly off to the point that I just don’t even bother. Why this is such an issue I don’t understand. You would think Blizzard would color our tier sets accordingly to make them at least match with the armor colorations, but no. It may as well be the complete opposite.

Agreed. I had to do a lot of digging to finally find a shoulder mog that matched my barbershop armor and then built my visage armor around it.

Mogging is one of my favorite parts of the game, and I’m also one of the six people that is (mostly) happy with how the dragon form looks so I spend most of my time in it. I would LOVE to be able to customize it more than just what the barbershop has to offer.

Yeah a year on with no new armor options and still restricted to just shoulders really sucks. The current tier belt doesn’t even show, but it does on the elf form. lol
