Good chance that statistic is because everyone switched to frost
The wound buff definitely helped where Unholy was lacking. Some tuning to what’s OP would go a long way
Dialing back op specs and/or rebuffing unh means admitting they were wrong.
Add an AoE fear from the dark transformation ghoul instead of the weak 1 second stun, would be nice
I’ve faced a few unhs so far and they feel pretty lower-mid in terms of how much damage and pressure they get out

DK players already tried UH buffs and it really didn’t change much.
That prompted DK players to go frost route because at least that spec can close out games.
Make apoc do damage again
Unholy already cleaved fine wounds provide zero ST pressure nothing has changed imo
Unholy players will never be happy unless they’re in that overtuned state we’ve seen a few times now since DF
It did get kinda buffed because wounds got buffed, but it is weird that apoc itself does like 100k damage on 7 million health pools.
Definitely takes time. THey buffed boomy frenzy regen by 50% and the winrate went down until like 11 days later where it shot up by like 4.5%.
Also this. Frost is still absolutely cancer to play, but I’m consistently seeing 2-3mil damage globals during their go, it’s NUTTY.
Yeah I just don’t think incremental buffs that really help unholys already decent cleave actually resolve the issue. I’d rather see apoc itself do meaningful damage so we gain true ST kill pressure.

While I agree it could use a few minor buffs. The main issue is that the current buffs didnt fix dk dieing to ferals and hunters. I will say as its a holiday week and Classic just recently started its not strange that the bar hasnt moved even with the buffs.
The only thing left to bring the spec back to life is increasing coil damage. The spec has no ST damage. Highest coil damage I see is 300k, we can’t close games. Disease damage don’t count cause healers are good at healing aoe damage, the class adds no pressure.
