Where is the Bug report - Forum/Support quest to send this too. (Note I’ve sent it everywhere)
WHY DOES THIS PET NEVER GO AWAY! Hunters and Warlocks do not deal with this nonsense. Every time I dismiss the UH Pet. The next time I zone… or teleport…cutscene… whatever. This idiotic Pet gets summoned. I am not in combat. I do not need this idiot Out. Why. Does. this. Happen? It has only been a thing since Mid DF. I do not get the point of this.
Running around a town, crafting and banking. Log out to send mail from another toon… log back in… Erergeeunngueer… this thing gets summoned.
Stop it!
I am ready to switch to Frost, over this. Yes. it is that obnoxious to me.

I’d argue that Warlock and Hunter are far, far more annoying. DK pet management is pretty chill, and we don’t typically have to worry about forgetting Timmy going into a pull.
Death Knight has had better pet-resummoning than the other pet classes since Wrath of the Lich King, my dude, this isn’t new. Nothing changed in Dragonflight.
I’ve been playing this toon forever. I enter a town, dismiss pet. It was never seen again until I summoned it. All of a sudden in DF I am wearing the dismiss pet macro out.
I guess I am imagining things eh…

Why are you dismissing your pet… period? Why do you care so much that its out in a town? Do you really want to go through the animation when you get into combat?

Nothing worse than getting caught rocking out with your pet out in town.

Because there are people who engage in the role-play part of an MMO “RPG”. Not walking around town with a rotting corpse shambling at your side is something more friendly death knights might do in world.
May also just not want the visual clutter when shopping at the auction house.

Then dont role play as an Unholy DK.
Really? Why do people play these bad arguments like its an argument. If you are shopping at the AH you are looking at a completely different window, there is no adding to the visual clutter like in a raid.
This is literally someone complaining because they have nothing else to do.

I have the opposite problem and find that I have to cast my pet way too often…
If it’s toxic to mention that someone might have a role-play reason for doing something out of combat in a massive multiplayer online ROLE PLAYING game, then slap some charcoal and call me arsenic!

It is obnoxious when trying to click on NPC’s and this thing is in the way.
It is obnoxious when you want to RP.
It is obnoxious when reading chat bubbles.
It is obnoxious when doing Dragon Races.
It is a pointless feature. If I dismiss the pet, you want it gone. Just because I hearth to Stormwind, I don’t need this idiot to be re-summoned.
Kelliste. Why do you and many others, try to convince people their preferences are wrong? I mean think about how dumb this is? I am saying this is annoying, and you are saying “No it isn’t” OK. You convinced me.
I love this pet!

No your toxic because you called me a weird little freak.
Your preferences are wrong. I mean I might as well go with the argument you put out there for me to take.
I have never had it interfere with a single NPC, never had an issue with it on any dragon riding and I highly doubt you actually roleplay to any degree that just making a macro to dismiss your pet couldn’t be done. You are making a mountain out of a ditch.

What’s funny is for time walking I was trying different stuff since crit goes down to like 10% rendering much of frosts kit useless… I had to summon the ghoul every single time there is a loading screen.
Load the dungeon - summon ghoul
Return to town - summon ghoul
Take portal - summon ghoul
Jump off cliff into water to bypass mobs - summon ghoul.
How anyone has to dismiss their pet so often is beyond me.
Oh man. I am the exact opposite! I want my pet out all the time in RP! Especially when it’s cross-faction! “Oh, I am sorry did this use to be your auntie? Ha!”

Well I think your helmet is stupid. Does that make me wrong, because you have a different preference?
Yes it does. Is that what you want to hear? Want to continue an argument with this childish behavior coming from you?
Every single time I would go through a loading screen my pet would have to be summoned. Don’t know why you are summoning your pet all the time to have to dismiss it in cities, but it’s a you problem and Blizzard should do nothing about it.
The amount of times I’d have to recast it in dungeons and raids if it didn’t autocast would be stupid. I’m not interested in a world where we have to care more about micromanaging Timmy.
Use a minion Glyph if you don’t like the ghoul aesthetically. I use Geist. He matches my armor, and I have this little edgy/derpy dude as my manservant, it’s great.
I’d rather you need to manually dismiss pet, than me needing to resummon it after every instance transition. Sounds incredibly tedious. Your proposition has so much friendly fire.
This is how unbelievably stupid this is:
It is now worse. Pet is automatically summoned when you dismount. So, I can be on one side of town, hop on a horse to find a mailbox and when my feet hit the ground “EgrgeGegegHhhh” this idiot appears. Right in front of the mailbox. Can’t click mailbox.
You folks are going to sit here and tell me this is needed? If anything needs to be automatic, how about the Dark Transformation. Never mind that.
What is hilarious. Is that I decided Ok, i’ll just walk. What’s the rush check out the town. I can now que for the new dungeon. When I load into the dungeon? LOLOLOL. The pet DOES NOT automatically summon. I just shook my head, this can’t be real.
Regardless this is the outcome:
I found a way around it. I’ll just switch to Frost when I am not questing, which is absurd. Which is just as absurd as the switching flight stance…(Great Job Blizz).
Its whatever. This stupid pet ordeal makes me not want to log in, I log out sooner than usual. And then… probably just unsub for a while. We’ve all done it. Just might be my time.
Suffer Well, Forever
