I was on my monk mistweaver and an unholy dk had unlimited grips like a god dang Blood dk!! i was basically chained down entire match. It was so stupid.

Time to give DK grip diminishing returns like every other CC in the game. Why was it given special treatment and not considered CC.
It isn’t CC is why.
That’s why I said it should be considered CC because it does stop you from casting and puts you in a position you don’t want to be in. That is what CC is all about.
So it’s an interrupt. Cool, so it doesn’t need DR.
So, instead of taking my advice on fixing blood dks in the Kidnap meta, they’ve doubled down and gave it to unholy.

Yea, I’ll let all the suckers beta test through season 1 while I play GW2 next expansion and build a player house. When I’m bored with the GW2 expansion I might return to WoW depending on how much of the crap they fixed.
But right now it’s absurd seeing so many useless shadow priest talents that are completely pointless but cost 2 talent points: Crystaline Reflection and Manipulation are the two main ones that annoy me. It’s like the devs thought spriests would be an unstoppable force if the amounts were upped a few more percentage points. Instead, they make the talents completely garbage.
It’s not that bad. I was playing a few MW games this morning, had a DK trying to sit on me in one game. Like the poster above said, I had transendence, tiger’s lust, and double chi.
I’m sure my mobility was annoying him more than him gripping me was me.
yeah its pretty terrible game design. this is what blizz does though. they troll the player base by doubling down on garbage play. im surprised they didnt give hunters triple tap before they removed double tap
as pointed out we only have two charges on deathgrip, and that is if you talent into taking the extra charge.
its possible to take another talent that resets the cooldown on deathgrip if you get a kill on a target that gives you honor or xp, but afaik you have to be the one landing the killing blow, it doesn’t work on honor kills. i’ll give it a test though.
the major difference between unholy and blood is that blood has a much shorter cooldown than unholy.

Honestly hasn’t been an issue for me. I’ve done 15 games between 2 Hpriests and 3 as MW. My only complaint so far is pre-season damage is a little wild, so I’ve died 4 or 5 times sitting stuns where I’d have been fine last week. Lol

Meh Ion and his gang have made wow PvP Into the World of Stuncraft. Everything is so unoriginal in wow with ion at the helm. I’m going to act out a development team meeting with Ion:
Team: “What should we do about wow PvP? People have been complaining”
Ion: “More stuns and cc!”
Team: “what about pve?”
Ion:” put more goo on the ground that people need to avoid!”

They’ve all been added for M+
The CC duration nerf they did in DF was so they could “tone down” all CC so that the micro CC’s they’ve added since Legion don’t feel as bad in PvP since they aren’t going anywhere in PvE
