Works as long as you’re wearing 2H(s), even as Prot. Does not work with 1Hs. Only way Fury has access to MS debuff for PvP.
All the Fury legendaries are trash. All the good legendaries are non-specific ie Leaper, Tormented Kings, and Judgement.

You know. As TG. Does mortal strike only hit with one weapon or is it a acting like it hits with each 2h equipped? Making it 4 MS instead of 2?
I mean… it be nice if it was 4 MS instead of 2 thanks to the fury mechanic tricking it into hitting with both weapons.

Deathmaker legendary is BiS for Fury ST and is pretty darned good. At least Fury-specific. Signet is great all around.

It still only procs 2 MS hits.
It actually creates insane burst damage. Your bladestorm as fury hits harder but in like half the time as Arms… pump in the two MS hits and on 1 target you can blow someone up.
It’s really the only option for Fury in PvP atm; Recklessness → Rampage → Storm Bolt → Ancient Aftershock → Bladestorm.
It’s gimmicky, but until Fury gets some serious love (lol at 5%) it will be the only option.

Good lord no, lol. I just noticed it actually shows up, albeit at a very low percentage, among the legendaries used on certain heroic boss kills.

Long term, if we someday get the legendary equip cap raised, I’m curious how Unhinged would interact with Signet. If a BS proc off Reck also does the Unhinged MS hits, that’s some actual ability synergy.
Right now, though, it’s just slightly behind Deathmaker in every situation. I tried running sim permutations with it in multiple sim type and it’s always about 1% behind DM. Not a huge gap, so if you just can’t get the DM memory to drop then it’s a decent replacement, but also not something you’d go out of your way to spend Soul Ash on. At least, not until you’ve got Rank 4 Deathmaker and Signet in your bags.
Probably people who crafted it for arms and are just using it till they make a fury one. Was like that for me for a week haha.
The mortal strikes were like 4-5% of my dmg overall though.
