I don’t know why it had to come to this, but make un’goro power crystals 1 color, black or white or grey. When you pick it up, it has a 25% chance to be one of the 4 colors (red, blue, green, or yellow) in your bag.
This current system of farmers, newbs, and bots picking all the blue and yellow and leaving THE ENTIRE MAP 100% red and green crystals serves no one and trolls the rest. They are not smart enough to pick the red and green so it can respawn, they just circle the map 100x times in 2 hours to pick 1 blue. Why is this allowed? Can you do anything about the bots and gold farmers?
Why are the farming only 2 colors - is it for the libram enchant?
I personally don’t think they should change this in Era though, spending a few minutes to get the crystals they need (by resetting the unused colors) should be fine for any player.
Ok so me and my buddy weren’t insane by not finding blue or yellow…good to know it wasn’t just us. Is there suppose to be a market for these things or something? What exactly is the point?
So there are 3 big things you use the crystals for.
1 - the quests, which need equal amounts.
2 - Librams, most noticeably Voracity (8str/agi enchant) which needs Crystal Force
3 - Crystal Spire, thorns buff for boosting
Crystal Spire uses the colours OP is talking about, and is used in the Libram of Resilience for 20 fire resist, which is sold at around 500g per arcanum on Horde Whitemane. The 5 arcanums pre-diremaul are not BoP and its weirdly become an insanely popular gold farm.
