Can we do what WoD did and boost people’s ilvls in instanced pvp to a couple ilvls below honor gear? It’s so annoying when people enter bgs with 0 gear

This will really improve BG experience! Boost everyone to at least 10 ilvl below honor gear. I just finished a WSG where half my team had only 6M hp, and we got gy farmed.

WoD introduced stat squishing. Which was so outrageously broken, low levels could destroy max level characters in pvp combat out in the world. Blizzard didn’t even fix that problem until Legion launch. 6.0.2 patch if you want to look up some vids on what I’m talking about. There was also a time when it got exposed that numbers that was popping up on our scrolling combat text wasn’t even the real numbers being done in game to players or mobs. This happened around that time as well. I tried finding some videos on it on youtube but its been so long ago now I couldn’t find any.
Low level already get boosted to 630ilvl as long as they have max level gear and not some heirlooms.

WoD was great for PVP gearing. The best it ever was until DF.
I loved WoD. I wish blizzard would give druids the ability to have the Saber form like I had then as a glyph or something with some updated pixels and model lol.

Me too, still my favourite expansion for PVP.
Just spend an hour in a war supply crate raid and get easy bloody token/conquest gear or … Bg with no gear, have equally as little fun as opening boxes in a raid, be a hindrance to your team and gear slower
The latter is usually what most people choose
That being said I didn’t know these crate raids existed until recently. So easy (but boring) to gear alts

Unfortunately it’s kinda necessary if you’re Horde since Alliance vastly dominates most shards population wise.

Nvm misread what you said, ya 100% do it in a raid. Even on alliance though the raid is nice, they just tell me which one is next, I go to it and watch youtube

Unranked BG’s don’t have a gearing problem, they have an attitude problem.
It is ok to use unranked BG’s to gear. Epics are made for that.
Sure, but it’s extremely demotivating for others who have to carry those ungeared people.
It’s not so bad, again you get scaled up to 630ilvl. Honor is 665 and with conquest some are above 670.
They can still use turrets and siege and do as much damage as anyone else.
If you want to play with only geared players go do Blitz.
How do you think the ungeared players feel in PvP getting one shot and doing no damage?
I agree, they need their item level boosted more than it currently is. Saw some 2 million and 4 million health players in randoms earlier in this season and it’s just sad because they can’t actually do anything.

They do. I’d like to see it go a little higher than 630 (at least 645), but the real change that needs to happen is to bar anyone not wearing full TWW gear from queueing for battlegrounds. Like ilvl minimum for random dungeon finder.
Previous expansion gear doesn’t scale, which is why you end up with the REALLY low health people occasionally (sub 3 million HP). I’m sure the people who ONLY do pvp are gonna cry about it, but I think it’d be a positive. Had an idiot with 2.8 million HP whining about not getting “peels”, like any CC we could possibly do is going to stop him from getting oneshot.
I’ve got a DPriest in greens with 4682k buffed and a Warlock in greens with 5k buffed in this game. lolol
Those players are wearing old expansion gear that doesn’t automatically scale The fix is to not allow them to queue until they have current expansion gear. The minimum is now 630, which I think is around 6M HP if all your gear is affected.
pvp should have no gearing
