Congratulations, you exclusively play with Retail tourists.
It’s literally their job to garner as much attention as possible, and playing a new game is easily the best way to do that. Also, why do you care what streamers are doing?
We are right at the very peak of Classic’s population since it launched. People don’t need to “come back”, because WoW has gained players, not lost them.
Word. Windseeker is very active, and you can pug anything you need to. There are awesome raiding guilds there, and my own guild is very healthy with multiple raid teams and people who help each other out all the time.
Not sure if its server balance. Demographics have shifted. People just aren’t as high strong for pvp as they use too. I see alliance pass me by all the time and i pass them by too. Rarely do i see people engage in wpvp.
I’m sorry, but there’s something to be said of this person being the common denominator if, in their experience, the entire world is falling apart as a result of Dragonflight’s launch.
We have plenty of reliable data to pull from, and to my knowledge, there is absolutely no indication of the player population dwindling, aside from the predictable slight dropoff the game experiences literally every single time the most current content is on farm. In fact, we’re at the very peak of Classic’s population since the day it launched, so you’ll have to forgive me if I’m skeptical and annoyed by yet another doom sayer implying that some of the best content in the game can’t “save” Classic, or that Classic needs “saving” at all, just because he exclusively plays with flavor of the month tourists who jump ship the moment our favorite corporation dangles a new product in front of them.
Look, it’s very simple. You intentionally are using a derogatory phrase to try and insult other people. You know darn well that calling someone a “Retail Tourist” is meant to be an insult, and anyone who opens their post with an insult is not here to have an adult conversation.
I would expect nothing less from you than to support anyone using the “Retail Tourist” slight to describe other people. You are a troll and are only here to poke the bear and see how many new arguments you can start.
My guild currently runs two raids each week and both raids have Immortal. We also raid log and play other games together like Among Us, Valheim and Darktide.
You don’t have to be online all day everyday. We are approaching the end of a raid phase. Of course everyone is raid logging.
I’ve played DF and there is nothing compelling about DF other than the dragon flying itself, the music, sound effects and visualizations. The story line is rather silly.
Here is my summary of DF so far:
The flying is kind of nice how it was handled. Good job.
All of the NPC’s talk way too much. They are annoying as all get out (most of them)> Less talking and more quest giving.
The NPC’s are slooooooooooooooooooooow and inconsistent in how they handle quests in as turn in’s, giving you items or talking to them.
What is up w/all of these dorky talk to him, run to him, click this dead rabbit, skin it, bring it to a boil, dump it on the ground…talk to 12 more people, click 10 more items and then 15 mins later, jump 6 times, now turn it in.
Pretty small area to have taken so long to create this xpac to be honest (esp. with reused dungeons)
What happened to shammy totems - that is crazy sad they are basically all gone – A shammy w/some ghetto totem now - just wow.
The voice actors for the NPC’s are terrible. The voices on quite a bit of the NPCs are very screechy and annoying. Seems like the voice actors are or were and after thought.
No real new “ideas” in quests.
Music is good
Reused old dungeons - how sad.
No one speaks to each other in groups.
Trainers gutted
You don’t even have to worry about learning new abilities - they are now automatic - how lazy…errr…I mean, yea how lazy.
It is pretty dumbed down expac to be honest.
Watered down characters
Pruned abilities so that even the most noobie person can play.
