How’d you die would be my first question.
Was this your first death would be my second.
What was your DPS would be my third.
Was anything said prior to you getting kicked would be my fourth.
And lastly, what dungeon was it?

Pug people can be jerks. Maybe try to find an active guild to do parties with rather than roll the dice with the random group finder

The worst part about those kicks is you only need 2 other votes. I’ve seen people start a vote to kick someone and they’re gone before i even finish reading what I’d be voting for. Not everyone’s had to run back to deadmines before…

Yeah, Blizz definately needs to fix this issue…I was booted for simply trying to get mana in a dungeon i was healing, now I have the deserter debuff and cannot reque for 30 mins…WTF Blizz?..there should be consequences for booting pple for NO apparent reason
Does this happen sometimes yep but if it is something happening to you over and over – that is on you.

I died during the first pull of one of the Scarlet Monsatery dungeons. Tank goes nuts and grabs three packs in the hallway. The healer is AFK. We fight valiantly and prevail but I die. My dps was irrelevant. The healer shows up. He buffs everyone practically standing on top of my body. I ask for a rez honestly because I can never remember which door to use to return to my body in the Scarlet Monsatery. No answer. They pull the next pack so I release to give it a shot, somewhat annoyed, and boom gone. Nobody said anything before that not even Hi.
B T W>>>> after my 30 minute deserter was up I requeued and I saw that same healer! He was AFK again and I voted to kick and succeeded!!! hahahahaha!!! Jees I forgot all about this from a few days ago but after I wrote my little story here I remembered. Great success. I still feel a little empty inside though. It was a hollow victory.

This isn’t unfair. You were removed from the group because the majority of the group voted that they no longer want to play with you.
You then received the debuff for being removed from the group.

You died in a heroic… there are no heroic SM dungeons… also your story does not at all match.
I don’t know why so many people try and lie about things like this. Do you just need attention? What’s wrong with you?

You died in SM? I thought you died in a heroic not a leveling dungeon and honestly even in leveling dungeons DPS does have relevence, if you’re doing nearly nothing in terms of damage when compared to everyone else then I’d understand the kick. You can’t just say that your DPS was irrelevent as it may be the reason you were kicked.
So to sum it up, you did a level 30-40 dungeon, got kicked for no reason, after nothing was said apart from you asking for a res.
I guess my only question now is why did you say it was a heroic?

I have always been an unfair deserter. I’ll leave a group for the most trivial reasons. I once left a group when the tank took a short cut I was unfamiliar with and didn’t want to take the trouble of trying to figure out where he was going. Personally, I think I have the right to leave a group for what ever unfair reason I want to. Don’t want me to leave the group, don’t do stupid sht.

Oh haha. I skimmed through all these replies and completely missed what you’re saying. I accidentally called the dungeon a heroic out of habit. I run the 5 man heroics on my main so many times I call them all heroics now despite my immeasurably superior brain. Just curious what would I even gain by “lying” about that? There’s lots of better things to lie about like the reticence of certain people engaging in certain actions with certain species.
I instanced in and sat down to eat some buff food. Got kicked lol
Yet another liar… or the same liar on yet another alt… There is a timer before you can kick somebody, so you can’t have instanced in, sat down to get food buff and kicked. Ya’ll need to get better at these lies.
