Starting on Tuesday I have been experiencing sever lag while playing retail WOW with latency and fps numbers within an acceptable range. This is the second time in the past month that this has happened. Last time it lasted only a week then stopped as suddenly as it started.
I followed all the troubleshooting to make sure the issue was not coming from my end and cannot find anything wrong there. I have also done some checking and found out that others are experiencing the same issue as me. Since everything looks good on my end hopefully ether someone else can address or advise on this issue since I can’t see anything else to do on my end other that wait it out.
As for the steps that I have done:
I have checked my network settings and connection with my ISP. This is all fine and in working order and not part of the issue.
I have checked my in game settings. They appear to be fine and are still set to what a support agent guided me to set back when you guys still did call backs.
I have done my antivirus and malware scans along with made sure that all my drivers are up to date. All good there.
I have renewed my IP and flushed my DNS as well as clearing the cache directory
I have reset my UI
I have made sure that there are no unnecessary background programs running and set WOW priority to high. All good there
I have updated my game files and battle.net app (patching)
I have logged onto WOW using my hotspot to make sure that the issue is not my wireless internet connection (I am unable to connect to the internet through a wired connection at this current time. Which has never been an issue)
I have also checked with other forums outside of the Blizzard network to find out if this is an issue that only I am experiencing and to see if someone outside Blizzard Support can help. I have found that a number of other players are experiencing the same game play issue and have offered the same advice that I have just mentioned that I have done. They are still encountering lag issues and many have stated that they do not submit a support ticket because they do not like dealing with Blizzard Support.
After following all the troubleshooting tips I am left to believe that unless something is pointed out that I have missed this is not an issue from my end and I don’t know what else to do.

No they really don’t. I ended up paying someone to come over to look at what was going on and fix it. It was my system responding to something that Blizzard had done that required me to make a slight setting adjustment.
Thank you for the attempt and to those who honestly tried to help through the communication distractions.
What setting did you change because I am having the same issue ive done everything I could research with nothing helping and it just me and few others in my guild not everyone.
