Just curious, does anyone recall or enjoy this movie? I have only seen the first two… a long time ago. I am watching the first one again… and wow! I love it even more. It’s so macabre and dark. I am gonna watch all of them after

It’s been a while, and yes I enjoyed them.
Not exactly the “need to watch again” type, but it’s got a decent story to it.

I always liked Underworld and it’s sequels. But I love the whole Vampire/Lycan stories.
I remember when the 1st was in theater, I went with my husband and my parents. I was the only one who truly loved it. Selene was actually what I based my MySpace on back in the day xD

Yeah I have watched the first two movies now. The first one held up soooo well. The second was good still but you could see it starting to get goofy. Still entertaining.
But unquestionably Selene is a boss. She pisses off everyone and has the chops to back it up. When she learns the truth about her family(totally forgot about this subplot completely) I was enraged with her.
Also- I love how she has a pistol(?) that acts like a machine gun and never runs out of ammo. It’s so fun
I love the underworld movies. Especially since I am a big fan of Kate Beckinsale.

I loved the first movie and the last one.
The ones in between were kind of meh.
Definitely loved them all. It kind of tapered off after the first 2 but was still enjoyable as an entire movie series.
Yes, they are quite good. I remember they miss the mark with only 1 of them, and I think the Rise of Lycans prequel was my favourite? I love a well done prequel, and I absolutely love seeing different artists’ takes on werewolves in entertainment.
The Wolfman (2010) with Benecio del Toro is really good too.
If anyone has a werewolf movie recommendation, I will check it out.
