so a death knight is a dead person that necromantic magic turns into an undead, wich means the the dk is still technically dead, so then why do they have to breathe underwater?
Lolore, mostly.
Regular Undead also had to breathe for many years before Blizzard realized that made no sense lol
Because youâre not playing Forsaken so you donât get the racial.
That was easy.
They could get a Classial lol
except you are not answering the question, a death knight is an undead, undeads donât need to breathe
Is that like a facia- you know what never mind.
Tough luck. Play Forsaken next time.
Their list of nonsense is such a long one, I wonder why they plucked that one out?
Your skin is in better condition because you probably were able to breath after the Lich King brought you back.
We know the forsaken donât breath⌠but how are you so sure about the rest of the puppets?
I guess LKâs curse isnât as cool as the Scourge curse.
Blizzard doesnât keep consistency at allâŚ
Undead don;t need to breath and can stay underwater indefinitelyâŚBUT an arrow their chest/âlungâ will kill them.
Itâs just a hot mess really
Thatâs an interesting point. And probably the most accurate reason weâve got.
Sylvanas and Nathanos probably have Saronite arrows to deal with dissidents.
Saronite kills the Undead.
It might be headcanon I picked up in wotlk for whatever reason but I was under the impression that DKs were raised differently, with magics that preserved them better and kept them from rotting and what-not.
Always assumed they just needed to breathe due to that.
Also, doesnât The Lich Kingâs model have a breathing animation? (Did he ever technically die even?)
This is annoying but true.
No, weâre dead. Not mostly dead, all dead.
HAHAHA!!!
Water logging. Itâs why undead and death knights donât need to breathe air, but they canât stay in the water forever.
Can you even imagine becoming water logged? It would be terrible.
The Undead can though.
Dead people shouldnât go swimming anyway, if you drown itâs super confusing.
