The Underpin showed up in the T8 Sidestreet delve, almost at the beginning, on my ww monk. Did the Underpin fight (died), looted the gold pile-- and no delver’s map. Don’t think I’ve ever had that happen before.
I had a wave scrambler in my bag, but once Underpin shows up, the wave scrambler can’t be activated in that run. Maybe having it in my bag cancelled out the delver’s map drop? But it never has before.
Anyone else not have the Underpin drop a map?
Anyway, I finished the delve but don’t need any champ gear, so a bit of a waste.
Did you already have a un-used map somewhere in your bags/bank?

but i think I gamed the system this week and used two wave scramblers on another alt-- just to see if I could. Maybe they caught me out and said, “no more for you.”
If you queue for a delve, has it been showing that a delve map is a possible drop? You didn’t accidentally use one already this week on that character?

I think that’s it–when I entered the delve, it didn’t have the Delver’s map icon. I just ported to Nightfall Sanctum, on my monk, and didn’t have the Delver’s Bounty icon there either. But I thought if Underpin shows up, he drops a map no matter what?
I haven’t done a lot of delve runs on my monk, maybe one this week, she has three hero equipped, I think one from a previous vault.
I guess the best thing to do on that monk alt is run the T11s for the gilded until reset.
Typically the only reasons he won’t drop a map is if you have one in your bags or already looted one prior in the week. Otherwise it may be a bug but never had it happen myself.

I’m a bit disappointed in the lack of in game instruction for Delves.
I’ve had guildies ask about the treasure maps and what ilvl of gear drops in what and trying to explain it to them has been embarrassing.
All I can say to them is that Delves are chores and you just gotta do them until something happens, aka, the treasure map drops. They made them into chores.
Tbh it’s on me because I have a system that’s been working on a few alts with the hero gear, champ gear, etc., but because I don’t run this alt as often, messed up that system by frontloading the scrambler, or some bad luck finally encountered. Never has the Underpin not drop a map, so guess it can happen.
Tentatively doing a T11 Nightfall Sanctum on my ww monk because she’s prone to sudden death syndrome lol.
I have definitely seen instances where the splash screen before entering the delve incorrectly showed that I did not have the possibility of getting a map. I had to zone in and back out and try again. Then it properly showed that I could potentially receive a map.
I wonder if I had just done the delve the first time, would I have encountered the same thing?
Anyway, I’d just assume it’s important to check that splash screen to make sure it’s right.

I’ve been in a group that defeated random-spawn Underpin and not received a map. And no, I didn’t have one in my bag or enabled.

I wish there was a delve loot log. (There are probably add-ons that track loot that I should download.)
I ended up going into my guild info tab and scrolled back to Wed. and sure enough, I had looted a hero Turbo trinket that day, but parked the alt til Sunday night and forgot about it.
I have one vault slot for 649 hero gear for my monk’s Tuesday reset; I will take it (unless a dup) and start over after reset. My ww monk is not an alt that I feel confident to do 11s on unless I plan it out over a week.
IDK about a full loot log, but I have a couple scripts that tell me how many keys I’ve gotten that week, and whether I’ve gotten a map. I’ll try to remember to post it later when I’m done with work… but I got them from some 3rd party site - you can probably find them. I honestly don’t recall where.
I got two maps on my druid this week somehow. Once from wave scrambler and once from a random Underpin spawn.
My monk got a UP spawn and no map, used a scrambler to spawn him in another delve and still no map. Game is borked woukd be my guess, maybe after this reset it’ll let me get one on the monk. My druid is 665 and really doesn’t need them for anything other than the bonus gilded crests.

Just to piggyback off this, when they claimed “guaranteed map once a week”, what was the guaranteed part? Trying to gear a new alt and with how painful the lower keys are, figured id spend a week or two getting my champ gear from delves (and the one off Hero).
Ran 6 bountifuls the last 2 days and no map
6 bountifuls isnt enough coin to buy a scrambler either

I get most of my maps from 11s, and sometimes the underpin poping
I think the wave scrambler is the guarantee, but since whenever an alt hits 2000UC i buy them and warbank them, haven’t been keeping track of how many delves that is. I open everything even if don’t need the champ gear, to get the most UC out of every chest.
The system was working pretty good for a while, but now brain is scrambling over it a bit 
Don’t trouble yourself unless an easy copy paste–no need for more work after work

Supposedly, every time you run a delve and don’t get a map, your chances of getting a map on subsequent runs increases. No idea what the practical limit of delve runs without a map drop is.
The only guarantee is if you use the wave scrambler.
Wave Scrambler, you’re guaranteed a map after getting Underpin to 50%.
You’ll be better off farming T11s. You get around 110 per clear, sometimes RNG tosses you another batch of undercoins within that range.

May have to. Its just my Spriest is 605 ilvl and a little squishy lol so was just blasting through 8s hoping for a map. May have to swap to Holy and go Tank Brann lol
