Anyone else feeling like this patch is just undoing a bunch of good things for no reason? My excitement for it has hit rock bottom the more “clarifications” they are doing.
Removing RNG protection. Uninspired and boring tier sets in both appearance and impact. Adding a 2850 achievement with bonuses that really only benefit people attempting to get 2850 (like who with that rating is depleting 12s?).
Full 12s is 2920, so I actually think this is correctly-placed.
The main change I think is really bad is having KSM/AotC/1600 granting a catalyst charge now instead of choice of Hero track tier. Just worse in every imaginable way for everyone except mythic raiders getting gear during RWF.
The token to cata change sucks but it’s really, REALLY a nothing burger.
Let’s compare this season. Champ 8/8 is 619, heroic 4/6 is 619.
Blowing gilded crests on 6/6 heroic is mega stupid early on. So most people with that heroic piece will keep it 619 for quite some time.
Now you can just full send that cata charge on ANY piece of gear, tier or otherwise. Biggest people this effects is PvPers (I guess).
Again it sucks and is worse, but it’s really a whatever.
